BLOOD&CHOCOLATE

A straight to video movie about werewolves produced by the same people who made the Underworld movies!
I actually liked this movie not just bcause of the story, but also the scenery---it was made on location in Romania, and Bucherest is very attractive.

 That was on Digg recently. I lol'd.

On another note, I just saw Sherlock Holmes. It was entertaining but mainly because I find British accent so hysterically gentle. The plot was OK, but it seems that the detective knows more than what it was called for.

A History of Violence. For the third time, I think.

Going to see it next weekend. :)

Due to January being the "silent month" on my line of work, my working hours (and salary  ) have been cut to almost half for now, which has resulted for me to spend time watching copious amount of movies lately.

La battaglia di Algeri / The Battle of Algiers
****½

Johnny Got His Gun
Probably better known as the film from which Metallica took all the clips for their One-video.
***½

Zombieland
**

A Few Good Men
Jack Nicholson is always brilliant.
***½

From Korea with blood:
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Lady Vengeance
Highly entertaining first and third part of Chan-wook Park's "Vengeance-trilogy". The middle part, Oldboy is definitely my favourite, but these are still really enjoyable. I have to say I never liked the confusing timelines in this trilogy. It contributes little to nothing to the story and only makes it hard to follow.

Brotherhood of War
A film about two brothers during the Korean War. I nearly shed a manly tear at the end.
***½

And with lesser amounts of blood:
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter ...and Spring
****½

Waiting for Daybreakers to be released here. If someone has seen it, please can you post a lil review and comments of the movie? Just to know what to expect, plus I'm a huge fan of vampire/thriller movies :D

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
I saw this movie today on TV.

I ordinarily do not like Westerns but this one is a classic. Its one of a triology based on "the man with no name" played by Clint Eastwood.
Clint is the Good, but its hard to figure out which of the other 2 guys(Eli Wallach, Lee Van Fleet)are the bad or the ugly because they both are both!
Anyway, its a good movie, an oldie but still good.

But, one thing: at the end of these movies the character Clint plays always winds up with LOTS of money---what the Hell does he do with it all? That part of the story always makes you wonder!

Sherlock Holmes: One os the coolest movies of the month, just really good. Makes you stay in your seat until the last moment of the movie. Very catchy

Daybreakers: Great movie, although there are plenty of others better vampire ones. Still pretty nice

"Never Back Down". A fight movie for teens. The main hero looks like Tom Cruise, the main female hero looks like Scarlett Johansson, and only my beloved Cam Gigandet looks like no one, with his awesome cubes... mmmmmmmm!!!!

How To Be

I've watched it. Well, what can I say )) I've found that Pattinson is an actor. And he has talent. He is very convincing as a teenager that has a mess in his head and in his life, and he rendered his youthful maximalism absolute. Though I thought that Pattinson is only able to act sweet Edwards. I take back my words.

I liked them both equally.

I've seen Daybreakers a few days ago and liked it very much. Sam Neill is great at playing evil characters.
