Hey don't get me wrong, I enjoyed T3 too. But that doesn't mean it was a good sequel. As T2 was to T1, and that's what I mean. I mean it did had good action sequences and T100 was hot. And cute. :P But still...

Hey Sbobo, is it really THAT good? I was gonna see it this past weekend but decide to go for Hannibal Rising. (That by the way ain't as good as the others, but the kid was awesome.) I like Del Toro, he did a good job with The Devil's Backbone and Hellboy. So...tell me...

It's in Spanish, with subtitles... it's gory... it's a war film, with some fantasy aspects, a dark storyline

personally, it's the best film i've seen for years, but only see it if the above appeals to you :P

It does! I kinda know Spanish. Enough to understand everything. ;) I like gore. war films are my fav. And I can take some fantasy, [considering that I like Rhapsody. ;)] and I like dark storylines, so...

I'll see it this weekend! Or Tomorrow!

He wasn't in T3? What? Really? Oh my god, I'm so confused. Why not??

I meant BEFORE the T3 movie was filmed Arnie was supposed to just have a cameo in it, but, as we know he wound up being a major player in the movie.
So, T4 might wind up being the same! :D

Oh, Arnie is going to be very busy this year: he is going to do True Lies2&Conan3. T4 is going to be done in early 2008.

I think that True Lies 2 and Conan 3 are still just rumours... or well, it's sure that they will do at least Conan 3 at some point, but True Lies 2... hmm... Hail James Cameron! 8)

I thought T4 was also just a rumour. Or is it? I mean, it would be strange. Now the scenery of that part must be AFTER the nuclear fallout. And thus all this funny time-travelling stuff of the first three parts would be gone. It would be a simple scifi-action movie.

OMFG! Talk about Vultures&opportunists! :puke:
Word has gotten out that there is going to be a movie about Anna Nicole Smith, and Charlize Theron is the leading choice to play Anna.
Good God how tasteless! The woman is not even cold in the grave yet!
Have those Hollyweird CEOs got any tact at all?

Totally agreed, just saw it and really liked it too. It's strange and unlike any other movie I've seen.

The messengers

A quite unoriginal horror movie, that loses it's horror theme near the end and the worst of all...

SPOILER ALERT

It even has a happy ending...

SPOILER ALERT

Hot Fuzz - best action movie EVER! There's nothing much to add to this genre after this movie, so I hope no one will even try ... This is from the guys who made Shaun Of The Dead.

Torrente
A Spanish comedy. Parodies the stereotypical Spanish man. Jose Luis Torrente (my avatar), the anti-hero of the film is a macho, coward, racist, fascist, chauvinst, alcoholic ex-cop. Very funny, if you have the chance, check it out.

Just saw The Shawshank Redemption at a friend's place.

Some of the dialogue was a tiny bit pretentious, but overall a fantastic film. Perhaps the only really good book Stephen King ever wrote.

just watched Borat. Well, in the end not my type of humour. It has some great, bizarre jokes, and I do not dislike the complete idea behind it. But it somehow has too little really funny scenes, or some jokes could have been even more provoking.

Departed - Wowowow, very impressive thriller with 100% great performance of every SINGLE actor!! This movie could get one of the very first places between my all-time-favourites!

The curse of the Golden Flower

I can't describe how it was... You have to see it to believe it.
Amazing direction, photography, costumes, a story without holes that makes you watch it till the end. One of the best Chinese movies I've ever seen.
A must-see.

Less than half of Alexander. It sucks, can't believe Oliver directed it. I was glad to switch to Twin Peaks. The best tv series ever! Twin Peaks is a world of its own, with it's own logic and laws of nature.

Probably people just wanted to watch Angelina in that tight, gauzy
toga she wore, sans underwear. :D

Yeah, just being sarcastic. ;)
Actually, I liked Alexander, but it did run out of steam before the end, I think. Lots of people made that complaint.

Angie's accent is about as authentic as Madonna's newly acquired British accent.

A Clockwork Orange
Dr. Strangelove is my Kubrick favourite, but I love this one too.
10/10

You Only Live Twice
Probably the worst Bond-film there is.
5/10

Sheitan. I bought this movie because of Vincent Cassel, I like this actor very much. But the movie disappointed me. So-so... Usual horror movie. 6 points :?

I saw this film when it was released theatrically, and rented it this weekend for my neighbors to see.

I agree that the entire cast did a great job, and it is refreshing to see that Scorsese has decided to deviate a bit from the more traditional Italian/Sicilian/New York mob thing, this time in favor of the Irish mob in Boston. I even liked the "metalized" Irish music soundtrack.

If you haven't already seen it, another good mob type of movie (this time with Jewish mob characters) is the classic, "Once Upon A Time In America", which was Sergio Leone's last film, and starred Robert DeNiro and James Woods.

One other mob type of movie that I would like to see would be one that focuses on the Russian mafia, which appears to be on the rise in America. I don't know of any recent ones, but I am sure it would make an interesting topic. There were some recurring Russian characters in the HBO series, the Sopranos, but I have yet to see a feature length film with Russian protagonists.

What the fuck??!!! Sean Connery is the best Bond actor ever, and that movie is nearly as good as From Russia with Love, Goldfinger and Live and Let Die, which are probably the best Bond movies!
