I am a genuine Japanese.

There is "many gods" in Japan.

We think that God is in each things.
for example...
God of money, God of study, God of love... more

November is called "Kan na zuki".
"Kan na zuki" writing in "Kanji",
"The month without God"

Because the meeting of God be in Izumo in November.
Therefore, November is called "Kami ari zuki" only in Izumo.
"Kami ari zuki" writing in "Kanji"
"The month with god"

It is the talk told from ancient times.

I'm interested in the language. Started teaching it to myself (more or less ) about 3-4 years ago. Of course you don't really learn as much as you learn with a teacher by this way but I think I know quite a lot already. I also can read/write Katakana and Hiragana (some Kanji) and understand several words and so on.... Anyway I wouldn't say that I speak very much. Only simple phrases and so on. I would need more time to learn it. And Kanji...well...

Many aspects about Japan are interesting: Clothing, architecture, food, landscaping, the way they use nature. Bonsai trees are most intriguing--how do they stunt the growth of a big tree, to become a beautiful miniature?

The Japanese culture is fastly becoming Americanized but, I hope they do keep a portion of their culture, and their humble, laid-back personalities.

Yeah, I agree.
Our culture became Americanized.

The good thing of Japanese culture is not known to many young Japanese people.

I may be not know Japanese culture well.

I have a Japanese friend online. He's from Hokkaido (sp?), he taught me how to say some things but I forgot most of them

I love japanese culture, and japanese ppl, I think they're very interesting, I love manga and japanese computergames, I would like to visit japan someday,well, I would like to be japanese but I think thats not possible

I think most difficult one in Japanese is word for respect useing.

Okay, I will Well, actually it's just some kind of 'hobby'. I know I should get a teacher to learn it properly - at least reading and writing but for me it's more important to speak and understand it in the first place. IMO one of the easiest ways to learn it is watching Japanese movies with English subtitles Or just listening.... it was funny when I was in Wacken and met a friend of me there (a Japanese) and he was talking to somebody in Japanese and I understood something and as I asked him afterwards if I understood it properly he was really surprised But anyway I really like this language even if it's not very easy to learn for me (I'm German btw)...

My favorite are FF series.

There are Maiko in Kyoto-Japan who working like geisha.

Only a young girl (about teenager) is able to become to Maiko.

It is not easy to learn other country language.I think so.
When especially characters are different.
But I think that interest is the most important.
I can't understand well even English , although...

I was a lazy student.
We have many English classes , but many Japanese are can't understanding English well.
I am also same.
Probably Japanese people are the worst who cannot understand English in the world. I think...
(of course,there are also those who can understand.)

I think it is fun to learn other country language!

I started FF from VII.
Until that I like Dragon Quest.
But Dragon Quest , did not come out for a long time a new version.
Therefore I started FF.

I did not play FF XI.
Because I do not like a network game.
I want to play game so that I may like.
I am selfish!!!

I love Aaron(Sorry Spelling may be different.) who in FF X.
He is so cool!

But it did not satisfy me.

And I am Japanese...

I think the best translation for Kenson would be "humility". Angel_Of_Death might have a better translation though?

I read something about FF X-2, Its very different isnt it? I hope FF XII will be like FF VII or VIII, IX and X were cool but I think VII and VIII are masterpieces, maybe I like them more because they are a combination between magic, swords, guns, and technology... Auron is great, my favourite character is sephirot from FF VII and cloud too! sephitot is the most well done character of all FF in my opinion

I think it's easier to learn languages that are similar to your own language. For me it wasn't every difficult to learn French for example because some words are quite similar to English ones. (Same should go for Spanish but I've never learnt Spanish)...

But I really don't think that your English is bad. At least I must say that it's far better than my Japanese

btw: You were talking about Final Fantasy here I've also played FF IV - IX (still haven't played X 'cause I have no PS2)...but my favorite parts are VI and VII

I think too ,FFX-2 differ from other series.
Although it can move to an early stage freely, but I think tale has not depth.
Probably, it will be easy to imagine next point of tale.
The character in which I like was not, either.
I of each series was pleasant respectively.
But X2 is disagreeable.

Probably
I think that we can talk with many people in English.
Therefore I think English is important language for me.
of course my ideal is able to understand other person's native language.

In fact,
I had only little chance talking with other country person until I visited here.
It is only travel conversation that was required for me until it.
But I got know "wonderful people were here".

I was disagreeable of my nationality.
I think because I had many personal disagreeable things and I was disgusted.
Only, probably, I thought that the situation changed, when escaping from here.
But I think now , important thing for me is changing a view.

I guess your Japanese is better than my German.
I have German dictionary , but I can't memorize many words and grammar...


My PS2 is a first stage type.
PS broke when a few days before on sale PS2.
Is it a strategy? In order to make me buy PS2!

A while ago, I wrote to the page of other languages and I remembered.

In Japan , McDonald's, what is called "challenge for 60 seconds" is doing.(At some stores)

This campaign is puts the sandglass of measurement at near register.
during 1:00 p.m. from 11:30 a.m.
The counter staff try to finishing arranged, before sand has fallen.
When the goods of an order cannot be arranged within 60 seconds,
they pass one coupon which we can exchange
for fried potato S size or cola S size next time coming to the store.

My mother got the coupon.
The point will do complicated order.

Does this do in other countries?
