What's the reason for you have choose this avatar? Which is its meaning?

To be haunest I didn't wanna put any avatar under my name... But if I do it it will probably be a motorcycle, a thundercat, or Spawn! But for the moment I like it the way it is...

My firend once brought to be a bunch of wallpapers and one of them was this vampire face, I just thought there would be a great avatar of it. I have no idea if it's from any film, game, comics or whatever, I don't even care.

because spiderman is the daddy!!! I use the Thunderctas symbol on other forums.

Actually I don't see your avatar, and when I followed its link directly I got info, that the access to that website is blocked from my region. And it says that the owner can pay more and upgrade to a version that can be accessed from anywhere. Heh, never met before with such a bullshit before :/

When a board chooses to use avatars I am against them. I really dislike them in the form where most of the people use them.

The only avatar I "understand" is a avatar that shows the real person behind the nickname. In any other form it's quite useless.

So it was a bit like counter attack towards "popular" avatars. I use my own picture as a avatar.

This is an avatar that was made personally for me. I had a personalized one before this one (some of you old-timers on the board may remember it), but I had to take it down because the person who made it for me and I were no longer speaking. So another friend of mine offered to make me a new one. I wanted a scene of the ocean, and the woman in my picture is no one in particular, I just like the style of women from the '40s and '50s and this one looked appropriate. Then the words "Pacific Ocean Soul" as homage to Nightwish, and because the Pacific Ocean is dear to my heart (seeing as how I live in California), a place that stays with me no matter where I go.

After trying over fifteen avatars (no kidding) I saw this guy on Megadeth's news page and edited to isolate him in the pic and tadaa!
Why him? Well, he seems to be a very nice person, don't ya think?

And longer: There are boards that don't use avatars. So it isn't so equal. I think I am registered in three or four message boards with my real name. But then again, if anyone cares, my real name can be found within two mouse clicks.

Well, mine is the figure of The Thinker (Penseur), by Auguste Rodin, one of the most expressive and impressive masterpieces of sculpture ever. And I love it, of course.
