You are on board an Ocean Liner-unfortunately, it Sinks,but in swimming distance to a desert/uninhabited Island!
What 4 or 5 things(according to size) do you carry with you to maybe make your life livable until you are rescued?
ME:
1. Swiss Army Knife
2. A Small Tarp to Us as a Tent
3. A Flare Gun&flares
4. A Solar-powered Lantern
5. Matches


And, if i could manage it, a solar-powered crank radio and a few bars of soap!:D

1.A loads of beer Pilsner Urquell
2.MANY Packages of Cigaretts (Spratas Red Long)
3.Drumset
4.Lighter (What good would cigs do without it)
5.A gun

1.My laptop... if I had one
2.Solar battey charger
3.My SLR (camera)
4.Some Stratovarius cds

Hey, ya'll--we are supposed to be living off the land pretty much, like Robinson Crusoe.....if you all take too much "modern stuff" it will be more like a vacation instead of a Survivor/learning experience!

But, its up to you!
Solar powered stuff is pretty modern, too--I'd say!:D

So, I survive by eating my own words!

yeah!! .....although my girl dumped me cos i tolld her that i love her .....................and my bed is really heavy.....so i would be able to bring only a knife and the condoms.....

Well, the knife would come in handy.
But, condoms without a girl? Thats no fun. But, the condoms could come(no pun intended)in handy, too-----You could blow them all up like balloons, tie them together&use them as a crude raft! Or, as an attention-getting device to get rescued.....if they are pink, maybe a plane could see them!:lol: Or, maybe the native girls from a nearby island could visit ya, and you could use them for their real/intended purpose, after all!

Me:
1. Swiss army knife (never leave home without'em )
2. Lighter and alcohol (maybe booze )
3. Some pens and a lotta paper
4. Some feet of rope
5. Random extra something (machete, tent, crossbow and bolts, bow and arrows, or anything useful for hunting)

1-a bed.
2-some flashlight.
3-something to the itch in my back.
4-My cellphone! (cant live without it).
5-soap.
6-phonecards
7-knife
8-Ipod
9-A tv.
10-.......whatever.

Did u just say 4? or more?

I think i'd die. I'm a vegetarian and i don't believe the island could produce enough plant matter to sustain me.

but if my survival were guaranteed, i would want to have a nice stack of books, my guitar, and a set of freeweights so i could make my time of solace useful! And some sardines.
