Woah, Marianne, what a difference... that sun DID look creepy. i thought at first you'd photoshopped it to hell, but then i read your post... couldn't see the dreadful xmas decorations, though...

Well, the stuff on the cars won't be there when you visit (obviously! heh), but hopefully there will be snow. it's been a strange winter, ntot too much snow... but hopefully you'll have a grim & frostbitten visit

Here are some pictures from my recent stay in Montreal. Yes they may be big, but this is the pic topic, so I won't apologize!

It was truly a tropical paradise. The macaws wouldn't leave me alone.

The last picture was taken during Christmas eve. We were 9 people, of whom 6 were Brazilians, except myself, my best friend (the one in black) and another guy who doesn't appear in the pic. So, they spoke mostly in Portuguese (but they knew some Spanish) and my friend and I spoke mostly in Spanish; the good thing is that we understood each other perfectly. All of us made use of the English language here and there.
