Thank you all so much. :) Devan is now 3 months old. Time passes by so quickly! I can remember so clearly when Vic was a tiny baby like Devan. It almost breaks my heart with both happiness and bittersweet sadness that time is whizzing by so fast! Soon, before I know it, Devan will be starting school, and then the years really do speed by.
There is a song,"When You are Happy the Years Fall Away", and it is so true. Children, even at their most mischievious, bring the ultimate happiness. :luv3:

When Devan was about 2 hours old. :)

I'll probably lose my Mama this year, so Devan was a gift from God to me as much as he was to his parents. Everything happens for a reason. He is a very precious child. :luv1:

The death of a loved one is a very tough thing to bear...I hope you can remember all the happy times you had together rather than the pains of her last days.

You can also consider that Devan wouldn't be around if it weren't for your mother...so her life continues through her offspring.

Something I made while I was inspired by the "Will the Sun Rise?" single artwork. Epic, eh?

I know, I was wearing the Kamelot shirt when I should be wearing the Stratovarius shirt!

Right now they are a darkish blue(like his mom), but in time they might be brown.
My sons eyes are green, like my Mothers. :)
If all babies were as sweet and healthy as Devan, lots of people would want one! :D He took after my son in that aspect.

Yeah, my girlfriend really has a way with children, she's studying medicine to become a psychiatrist and wants to specialise in working with kids. She's even dropped a few hints about wanting some :| but yeah that's still a long way off  she's got another 6 years of studying to get through! That gives me time :D

Anyhow, this is us at a gothic/metal club in Munich when I was there last week:

So, you did "start all over again"? Or, did you and your other GF get back together? ???
In any case, congrats! :)

Yes, it takes lots of psychology to raise children successfully, at least, alot of common sense! :D Still, there are bumps in the road of life and kids have their share of heartaches and pain to get through. The trick is to help them help themselves get through the problems with little damage to their life&psyche as possible. Vic scared me a couple times during his youth and teens, but through discussions, arguments, prayer, and compromise he arrived at early adulthood alive and with no bad baggage. Raising children is a wonderful experience, full of joy&love, but also trials and heartaches sometimes. What hurts them, hurts you. But, that happens when you love someone more than yourself who is a part of you, yet an individual.
Now, Vic has his own joy, and I am so proud&happy to watch (and help)with the process of his parenthood! :)

As long as she doesn't want it anytime before I'm 30

BEG, well things weren't exactly working out with my ex so we decided to end it when I moved back to London. Now with Nasia (the lady in the pictures) we've been friends for a while, and it was decided that being together was the most logical thing, since there was mutual interest for quite some time ;) Okay there was more to it than that, but that's the simple explaination

Come on, dude. A baby, we are talking about a friggin' baby!

I kinda like kids, but I dislike babies. All they do is drool and smell. I have two younger brothers (and one big bro, poor mom) and I do love them to pieces, but babies are no fun.

:( Weren't you a baby at one time, Carcass?(Probably a very cute one)
Or did the stork pluck you from the cabbage patch at 4 years old? ???
:D

My son really surprised me. He does his share of taking care of Devan, even feeding&changing at times. Of course, playing with Devan is what Vic likes best, as thats what Daddy's are for. :) And, Kris, the Mama, gets needed rest while there is father-son bonding time.

No,no that's not what I meant at all, I was saying that if Neonvomit and his girlfriend have a baby it would be their responsibility, I was saying that Carcass wouldn't be the one to care for it cause it wouldn't even be his child.

it was a lame attempt at a joke

 Of course he meant Finnish=avesome. To be a Finn is the most avesome state in the world and we are very proud of our perfection. We seldom boast about it though because we also are very modest.

Well I visited Finland once, and it was a nice place (what I can remember was nice, anyway...)

This is where I woke up the morning after my first night there:

A gorgeous industrial slum outside Tampere. I arrived in Helsinki the day before and am still unsure how I ended up in Tampere.

The was also an Erotic Restaurant I went past in the morning. Forgot to take pictures of it.

Anyway, Carcass looks like the people there...

Whatever you have to say to your defence you cant blame the Finns. Carcass looks exactly as most of us. Beautiful!!!
