Clash of Titans!

i believe that this is one of the greatest "crossovers" ever to be made...and let´s face it, nowadays, at least in a "fame" ground, no one can beat them as solo guitarrists...(at least we hear so).

Which one of them is for you the greatest? Which style pleases you more? (there isn´t a real forum without questioning those 3!)
Could you choose any of them? (Ignore the fact that X was the teacher of Y...because there´s always a possibility for someone to overcome his master)
Go ahead, vote and discuss!!
(sorry, i´m just crazy about poLLLLLLLLLs! :P Goddamn it, i always write it wrong!!!!)

I voted for Malmsteen only because Tolkki was not listed----but, he's not classed as a Titan, is he......Yet! ;)

Still, TT is great! :D :rvd: :headbang:

Hey, Petrucci's not listed.

I don't know much about them, but this spirit "I'm the guitarist so I am the only one who has his name on the record and all other musicians are there as fillers" i don't like very much... I would prefer a Tolkki/Romeo/Petrucci crossover :D

Malmsteen is my son's guitar idol--a while back it was Mustaine.....who knows who will be next! :D But, he makes good choices! :D

But hey, i picked those two because they´re the main "pillars"...and let´s face it, if i had to pick all great guitarrists (not only those in solo carreer, i would certainly go mad...)

I put mine for Malmsteen, though Vai and Satriani are great as well. Malmsteen has been guiding my style of playing quite alot.
I haven't killed him yet sir,
But when I do, I shall have the stomach and the liver too,
And the floppily doppilies in their horrid glue.

Dave Mustaine is one of my favourites too. That voice, those killing riffs and solos are indeed one of a kind.

Malmsteen for me -- although he's an asshole, he's one hell of a guitarist.

Malmsteen!!!
I haven't really listened to the other ones yet though, so I can't really compare him with them..

Ummm... all of them, although I am not really keen on Malmsteen, I admit his influence on a generation of guitarrists, Tolkki included!!
