Everyone seemed to jump on the topic about the solo in "Will The Sun Rise", so i figured maybe i could get this question answered. Anyone know where the sample of the choir in Queensryche's "Suite Sister Mary" is from? Or did 'Ryche orchestrate that themselves for that song? I can't find anything about that anywhere.

Why do you think it was sampled? I think they recorded it. In credits is info: Choir and cellos by Michael "Archduke of Darkness" Kamen. He was famous with cooperation with bands, eg Metallica, but I as far as I remember he's died recentyl.

I just assumed it was sampled, i suppose, because i'm kind of an idiot.

I had looked through the credits, pretty well i thought, but i guess i missed that. Now i feel like a moron.

I just saw them in concert, they performed operation mindcrime in its entirety. It was pretty cool, pretty intense.

The show was just this past friday at a fairly small ampitheatre near here. it was fun.

Damn, it must have been a great show, OM in its entirety . I hope they will come to Europe with this show some day...
