happy happy halloween halloween halloween, happy happy halloween ooo OOO oo oo...
BTW: This is how begins first Helloween album, sounds of tuned radio, and among different sounds appears a song with such words. Does anyone of you know what are the lyrics at the end of it ? (in place where I put ooo oo ooo). I cannot figure it out, maybe some native english speaker can?

On the live version of "A Little Time", the crowd is chanting the same thing. It always sounded to me like they were saying "ooooo OOOO ooo ooooo". Maybe i just never noticed that they were actually saying anything.....

COOL ! I like Halloween but in Italy we don't have this feast... some pub or discotheque celebrate it (only for advertising).
I will go to my favourite pub for drinking some beer.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

You know how us Americans do it, go door to door and get little kinds of "treats". Although, it's also a good day to vandilize someone's property without being charged.
I wish I was going out "Trick-or-Treatin'"

(I was planning on looking like my avatar, but the darker version, ask questions if you are confused). but I have classes Monday morning

. My g-friend is going as a...(drum roll)...goth!

I'll have to see how this goes!

In USA, Halloween is a fun holiday that has gone totally commercialized!
Samhain is a pagan originated celebration which literally means, Summer's End--it marks the harvest.

Some people think Halloween is just an excuse for kids to beg for candy, but thats all part of what the tradition has evolved to.....but, even that tradition has its roots in ancient Celtic beliefs--as you will see if you read those intersting Links!

On the beginning of Starlight there are some lyrics (I think...) but the crowd just usually sings that "ooooo OOOO ooo ooooo" -thing.

I'll have to listen Halloween today. What a great song that is.

Well, I got my trick-or-treating bowl ready!
Tootsie Roll Pops, miniature Tootsie rolls, packs of Juicy Fruit chewing gum, Miniature Snickers, and miniature packs of Dots. Maybe thats OK....I just grab a handful&put it in their bag! I don't get that many trick or treaters--about 8 or 10.
Its fun, though!

That's f@!$ing right, thanx a lot, now I finally know,

but what is the sense of it? What a silver shamrock has common with halloween?
You're also right with live version, crowd usually sings ooo oo oo because they also don't know it. But next time I will :jump: :headbang:

once again thank you very much !!!!!

I have no idea, shamrocks have absolutely nothing to do with Halloween, as far as i'm concerned. Perhaps its one of those inside jokes or something.....

Tonights the night! I got my treat bowl ready in case we get a few guests, but these days, now that my son&most of the kids in the neighborhood have grown up, Halloween is not as fun any more!
I did not even decorate the house this year at all. My son will be off work tonight. Lord knows what plans he has. He spent the night at a friends house. More than just sitting around waiting for trick-or-treaters I'm sure!

He may just go with his girlfriend's little sister&brother trick or treating.

Dave wrote:btw, nobody's talking about the NEW halloween album?
because it is about to be relase by now. I am waiting for this album. Curse me, but I really like 'Mrs. God' song - this time we have Helloween again in a little bit pop style. But this song contains all characteristic features of Helloween style: riff, melody, arrangements, and even some elements of their specyfic sense of humor - it really reffers to songs from past keepers.
The single is very promising for me, it contains also very long and interesting song 'King for a 1000 years'. Today I've read an article writtem by man who was on pre-listening session where 5 tracks was presented. His opinon is very promising, it look like it is gonna be an interesting album. I cannot wait !
BTW, better late than never: happy halloween !
