Curiousity has gotten the best of me.
It would be nice if i could look this up on the internet, but unfortunately i can't find anything in English about it, other than that it might mean something like C.O.D. Which isn't helpful.
Thanks. \m/

Haha, i've already been alerted to the fact that there are NO Finnish translation services on the web.

The word itself was unearthed on Turisas' website, where it said that postiennakko was available, but only in Finland.
Of course, things that are exclusive to certain countries are sure to ignite the interest of culture dork me.....

Right then, what makes this postiennakko thing special in Finland? Is it privately run? Different service? Or is it just called by a different name?
Details, people, details.

I believe it's the lead singer of sonata arctica, or some gibberish in finnish that doesn't really mean anything.

Uuuh...details? You order something, after a while you get a little note from your local post office that your package has arrived, then you go to the post office and cough up some cash and then you receive the package.

That would imply there is also gibberish in Finnish that does mean something

Yep... word to word postiennakko is an advance for post-service.
