@neonlightchild, I was in that girls situation years ago&there was a guy who really liked me, but settled for being just my friend. He wound up being one of the few people who stood by me in my chaos. And we remained close for many years. So, please just be there for her, now more than ever. She may try to push you away, but don't let her! Make it clear you will support her&remain her friend.

I think it's completely a North American phenomenon. Apparently, though, it's not even THAT extensive, as demonstrated by the illustrious Clare. Maybe it's just the U.S.

And what if we don't know the full story? What if this girl is not that beautiful in outlook at all? You shouldn't judge anyone in advance. And what if this girl used to love that man, but now she doesn't love him anymore?

fifthTea is obviously a person who is perfect and never has made a mistake in his life. otherwise, how could he be so judgmental and hostile toward these people.
neonlightchild is not shallow at all but seems to be caring and a good friend. good friends are a rare find these days so i think he is doing a good right thing.
Later when the girl gets her life together they both can decide if this relationship is good or not for them to persue.

yeah, I am BEGs son. She is depressed about not being able to get time off so she could see Stratovarius, so she decided to stay off the forum a few days. people will be gushing, oohing and ahhing about seeing them and I guess her Ego cannot stand it. She is a very true fan. I hope no one is stupid enough to argue with that.
I do not plan to post too many more days. I do not like Forums too much. so Cultish in nature. Actually it was fun. I can understand now why Mama likes to do this posting stuff now.

@fifthea_sausage: thank you man, i think what you tried to do is cheer me up, and that is good, thanx a lot. Your theory is right if you go back years ago, but believe me, these "physical atraction" became not so important with the march of time. I can't stand the whole thing at all hehehe, anyway, i understand what you meant bro , but things happen, and sometimes you don't know if you are with someone because of "love" or because of something you think it is love, i think this is what happened to Livier (that's her name), but shamesly, she realized she doesn't love him too late, any way, they are more like good friends, anyway..

@Beast_pete (aka "spam-master" ): That is sooo true, i didn't tell you the whole story, it is wide and complex, that's why i am feeling like this. it is a non great position for you man. I suffered something similar ( not so bad, I admit) in the past, but I agree with BEG, you have to remain being her friend and being close to her. Sure she needs you now more than ever. So, be strong man. Have a beer and don´t think so much. This kind of thing makes us strong.

On a similar note, when i was doing theatre, i punched this guy i was doing a play with in the eye. he called me "slugger" for the rest of rehearsals and i felt really badly... I mean I just couldn't figure out how it happened! we were sitting beside one another on a couch and then suddenly my fist was in his eye.

I wanted to bump this topic, but I actually do have a legitimately good confession to do it with.
