This is whee a crook sends you an E-Mail supposedly from your bank asking for your pin&account number.
I have been PHISHED like this 3 times---1 of which was a Bank that I do not even do business with!

I caught on right away--the time zone told on them! I called my bank&reported this shit&they told me just to delete such mails immediately, that this was the latest E-Mail based scam/crime.

BTW, it is pronounced--FISHING---because these cybercriminals throw out these mails hoping you will answer and be reeled into their net!
And, these mails look authentic--like the real bank in question sent them!

Beware--you were warned!

A real bank would never ask for codes, so i think most people will be wise enough to not answer... not that new btw :P

lol TS, you don't know how dumb people are... Some years ago, I sent mail to some AOL users telling them that if they sent their login/pass to some junk addresss (wich was mine of course) they would be able to connect for free. In fact, I was connecting for free with their accounts, cause lots of people actually sent their login/pwd.

Yep---thousands of people worldwide have been taken in/fallen for this scam.
Many people have had their entire accounts cleaned out.
And theres not too damn much a person can do about it once it has happened.
Like I say, these crooks fix the bank's logo&everything so perfectly I can see where ignorant people might fall into the trap. The mail I got was sent from a +8 time zone
and my bank is in -6 time zone. I figured these culprits were in Asia,Japan, or Australia somewhere.
