I have three cats and a fish.

The eldest cat, Hemingway, would listen to old jazz like Dave Brubeck or Count Basie. She would use the record player, because she's snobby like that.

The middle cat, Pauline, would listen to Bob Dylan and swear that he's the greatest thing ever to walk the earth.

TT would listen to boy bands.

My fish, Dr. Satan, is totally metal. Ozzy lives in the fish tank with him, so he's completely rocker. He would play thrash metal. Anthrax 24/7. Occasionally he'd play some Sepultura. He wouldn't even wait until i left the house. He'd just tell me to go fuck myself so he could use the stereo.

Alrighty then. Hopefully, most of you have pets.

Well, the cats at my parents' place, Monica and Susan have disastrous tastes in music. Chris de Burgh and Jennifer Lopez.

The cat I have here in my apartment is a complete mess and is the most energetic and distracted thing i've ever seen, so he'd have to listen to something all over the place. If we're talking metal, it would have to be ultra-progressive, like Spiral Architect, or something thrashy or... hmm. good question. Something all over the place, prog and/or stop 'n go and all sorts of things.

Gerry, one of the felines I frequently catsit, loves Italian Power MEtal. LAbyrinth, Secret Sphere, Vision Divine, Wonderland...doesn't matter what the fuck it is, as long as it's frilly, flowery power metal, he goes nuts.

My plump little parakeets (2) would both patiently wait till I left the house. Then, they would quietly turn on our music system to play some vivaldi or bach.

My cute pet rat would definitely listen to something hardcore, like german metal or extreme techno music.
