I have not saw this topic before----it may go Bust, but I thought I'd give it a Shot!

I enjoy Solitaire, Old Maid(I have a kid!), 5-Card Stud Poker,Gin Rummy&Plain old Rummy, Smut, Hearts, UNO(a college favorite--us nerds used to have night long tournaments!), and ROOK.

As to boardgames, Monopoly is my fav, followed by Scrabble. Chess&Checkers are fun, too but, I suck at both. And, of course the kid classics CANDYLAND and CLUE. ANTS in the PANT&Pick Up Sticks I passed down to my son, too.

I Pay Magic : The Gathering quite a lot, i'm also a level 2 judge. And I also play music-scrabble a lot with my bandmates. Just like the actual Scrabble, but you only can put music-related words, quite fun indeed Uno is great too.

Thats a GREAT&COOL idea for Scrabble! To make it Theme-oriented&thus, more challenging!

Yep--UNO is very cool! I have a handheld game(UNO)that I love to play in my spare time----I bought it for my son but he did not like it, so I gladly took it over!:D

Monopoly and trivial pursuit are a lot of fun to play. For cards, I like to play so many of them that I wont list them all.

I love MTG but have not played in years. Yu-Gi-Oh seems to be the new en vogue card game, and i will not touch it with a ten foot pole.

As a cardgame I like to play Jass

And my fav boardgame is Settlers of catan.





In the Netherlands, we call it Kolonisten van Catan.

I got an idea: Why not, when playing SCRABBLE, use words that only pertain to Sex? That might be fun! And every word over a certain amount of points you remove an article of clothing! "Strip-Scrabble" what a novel idea! I'm gonna have to give Mr. Hefner a call&see if that idea has been patented!

I like Clue also. It's just fucking hilarious that there was a movie .... based on the board game! WTF!? Anyhow if you haven't seen "Clue" go watch it! Ridiculous.

Mnopoly, Reversi, chess, checkers, and my all time favorite: PARCHE! it is a stupid game that Dominicans used to play, a waste of time, but i grew up playing it so.......

The Thief, U just shit, The little pig, 3 & 2, U understand Guerilla right? (Those are Dominicans Cards Games......)

BTW, Monopoly is the same game as the Hungarian Capitaly. So Monopoly stole the idea. (Capitaly was made years before)

@Iron_Thunder, I saw that Clue movie---it was kinda boring. But, Tim Curry livened it up somewhat with his antics.....not like the Rocky Horror Picture Show, though!
But the Clue game----my son was obsessed with it for a time---every day we'd play it. Got old after a awhile....:

And GHETTOPOLY is the hood version and it is a total riot (no pun intended) to play. It's hard to keep a straight face playing that.

I also love to play Senet and Backgammon. Poker, craps, baccarat, roulette, blackjack - and of course my beloved slot machines. I like Scattergories and trivial Pursuit as well.

Me too! I have over 2000 cards. I've been playing about 10 years and when Pokemon came along, my kid picked it up easily because I had taught him how to play MTG and they are played in pretty much the exact same way, even though I'd love to pull a Wrath of God on the whole Pokemon scene.
