We only play floorball in school since three years, but we've already beaten the national 6th team.

This sport is very spread (or at least I heard so) in Northern Europe, so, floorball players, report.

Rumour has it that Veripalttu plays it.

What is this 'floorball' anyhow?

I love floorball, but I can't play that offent unfortunately.

Floorball is a hockey game, but not ice, but floor.

As I know, Kotipelto injured himself 2 years ago, playing floorball. Accidents do happen, even if you're just sitting in front of a comp.

I didn't know that Kotipelto plays floorball.

Yeah, it's somethin' like hockey, but on floor, without ice-or rollerskates, with plastic sticks, and a blastic ball. According to the official rules, the goalkeepers may have no stick. Anyway, our keeprs usually use a stick.

You must run very much becuase of the lack of skates, and you must deliver a much bigger blow with the stick, because the ball is very light, and the only way of achieving high velocity is shooting the hell out of that ball.

I'm a goalkeeper in handball and football, but in floorball I play outside of the goal. You could say that it's the only sport, which can make me run

I like it.I play it in my school almost every Friday.It´s cool, but I like ice hockey more.

Oh, it's like floor hockey. God. I love that. The only thing is, nobody here plays it. When i visit my family up north we always drag the goals out to the basketball court and thrash about for a bit, but here in florida people don't really do that.

By the way i'm terrible at it. I'm terrible at anything i do.

Iv'e been playing as a goalkeeper for some time. I practice with five different teams and play official minor league matches with two teams. I don't take it too seriously, just something to keep me in shape. Koti is not an unusual sight in a certain floorball arena.

Did you play with him?

I haven't played with Koti. If the team needs a goalkeeper then I might think about joining in, if they are any good that is. I couldn't play or practice in a team that completely sucks.

This monday during warmup, this guy here was trying to hit the ball, and swung the stick so high... of course, I was standing behind him.

I got this little present targeting my left eyebrow.
Anyway, it didn't hurt after I was hit, but it was cool 'cause I was bleeding just like in the movies. What a pity nor my camera or my cellphone was there at the moment. And after that, we carried on with the training as nuthin' would have happened.

Iv'e been through quite a lot myself, getting tackled head first to the post, slashed by the stick where ever imaginable (frustrated forwards use me as a punching sack from time to time, mainly because I act like a total asshole while playing) and I once got a fight started.

That's nice. We do it quite fair-play, which doesn't necesarrily mean that we're little cherub angels.

By the time I used to go to handball trainings three times a week, I was given the name Kamikaze... I'm a goalkeeper... you should probably have an idea what sort of things we've done.

I play floor ball (btw. if someone here doesn't know the ball has many holes on it..) I play it every sunday and i have played it about 15 years, but i've been playing it only for fun. And i love it!!!!

A couple of years ago I played it every sunday.. With a small group. After a while they asked who'd like to join the official team? Well, I joined it. Damn we sucked! We played in a tournament against 2-3 teams and we lost every single one of the games. However even our loss was 11-1 my team mates had a great discussion about the ranking who's our best player! I couldn't take it anymore, it wasn't fun anymore. God not bless the Tikkurila Tigers!

Yeah, I know the ball's full of holes. We actually could purchase a sack of these phosphorescing balls which can be seen much better.

I find floorball very fun tooLike I said, it's the only sport which can meka me run. I actually even did play today in school. We have traininf too times a week, and one match in two weeks. Last year we won the regional tournament.

Yeah I think floorball's greatest thing is that it makes you run.. I can't believe it , it's just when the game strats consentrate to the ball and every thing else is somewhere else. Hmm... That was a novel

i'm a goakeeper........i'm very good but i never had time to play in a team....but when i end scool i'll try to make a career as a football player.........!!!!

I'm a left back and I'm one of our two team captains.

In football I'm a goalkeeper... by the time I was active player I was given the name kamikaze bacause of... my ... errrr... style

The same goes for handball, where I was even crazier.

I dont play active in any club, but I play a lot on my spare time.
Its the funniest sport.

I think TK has some sort of obsession with playing floorball...

I'm trying to organize a group to play floorball in my area, but no one seems to want to let us use their venue for it.

I've played Floorball at College while 4 years, but there was a long time...and it was (it's always) one of my faves sports.
