Fuck this crap.
Fuck Laplace.
Fuck Bessel.
Fuck Poisson.
Fuck Legendre.
Fuck Fourier.
Fuck Euler.
Fuck Lagrange.

Fuck all those assholes and fuck everyone who decided that I need this crap for my future life. This is inhuman, this field of physics should be outlawed by Geneva convention or something ...
I just finished a home exercise in it, took me almost 6 pages and app. 5 hours ... One of the pages looks like this:

Those who want to study physics, look at it and think again. Is this what you want to do in 1AM?

No, no it is not.

I will once I'll pass this course ... Failed it last year (the exam looked like someone's drug-induced halluciantion), hope to pass it now ... :x :x :x

That's great dude, at least you are decided to kick asses, so, good luck

I see you've met my good friends Laplace, Euler and Fourier. They have an amazing abilitity to pop up in all sorts of courses I'm taking (Poisson and Lagrange have also made brief cameo appearances). And I'm not even studying physics, apart from a few compulsory courses.

So, uh, good luck, and look on the bright side: Once you graduate, maybe you'll figure out a way to build a time machine, go back in time and off those pricks!

lol I haven't experimented it (yet) but it seems to be so fucking enjoyable :/
And besides my gf's father teaches it, I'd better watch my mouth :D

*Hugs Shurik and hands him a pot of coffee*

Now i don't feel so bad about having to write an essay analyzing Judges 20. Come to think of it, that research paper on Vitalij Kuprij isn't looking too tough either.

Jesus! And I barely passed the first (and for me the only) course of physics in high-school.

hey, do not ignore them. Believe me, their work was not done to make you study it in the night, and they have more useful application. Remember, all you do is your own choice, don't do things you don't like, and even don't try force yourself to do it.

I've met them long time ago (starting from analytical mechanics, the realm of Euler and Lagrange) but in EM theory they are doing nasty things ...

AAAARGH my eyes :(

I found the non-mathematical side of physics interesting. Add any sort of mathematical stuff in there, and its like a bad dream that never ends :(

I feel for you dude.

The point is - you can't have physics without math, math is like the language of physics ... And it can get very ugly ...

There's no physics, it's all nature. It is simple and logic, not sophisticated, but made by nature. There's nothing to understand, but to learn, and to get know. You don't have to think too much why circle is round, it's obvious. Those guys just noticed some laws and describe it using math, which might be complicated sometimes.

Well, I kinda figured it out already, 3 years of physics and materials scinece can help in that :) The point of the topic was just to ventilate my anger a bit, don't take it too seriously ...

At this point i would make a book recommendation to any of you who haven't yet been introduced to it: The Dancing Wu Li Master by Gary Zukav
