Well Neorave when the big games get started Finland will loose for example to Sweden.. Ukraine sucks as much in ice hockey than Finland sucks in soccer. I don't trust this year's team.. Most of the players were playing in the Finnish league.. If and when Finland plays against Canada.. There is no dobt about the result. Canadiens will win.

Wooohooo! Suomi beat Denmark and the Ukraine. Zetterberg will propably beat the hell out of the Finnish team, hopefully not.

Russian team is best one!!!

Hope not, Canadien fans (I'm not saying all of them) are the worst when it comes to Intl. Hockey. I was thrilled when USA beat Canada in the U-18 Champs. My cousin was shouting "SUCK IT, CANADA" the whole time. Yeah, I just realize who both teams were playing the past two days, but I wouldn't give up hope on the Finnish yet. It looked like Sweden had a hard time playing Ukraine (they beat them 3-2). Plus both sides have some great talent.

On a lighter note, I just found out that Kazahkstan just won their game...AGAINST GERMANY (2-1). WOW, now that's an upset.

This year's Finnish hockey team isn't very good. Those Denmark and Ukraine -games were not very good, even Finland won those. But when Sweden, Canada and others big countries come, then Finland will lose. And I'm Finnish.

Unless Pakaslahti, Ruutu and Eloranta manage to upset the main offensive players.

But on the other hand, Sweden had problems too, was it against Denmark? Anyway, personally I think success in sports is mostly about the spirit, less skilled can win too if they want and need it more than others. National spirit can rise the feelings, nothing brings so many people together, but also good coach or whatever that happens to bring the team together into this rapture when you feel you can do anything (and actually can). The world is just a bit too stable and united to build that much tension between us Western culture nations, such ecstatic team spirit is rare. But we can look at France winning EC in football in 1998 and Greece the Olympics in Athens. Skilled? Sure, but the spirit won in these cases, me thinks...

And about Finland being less skilled? Hell no, Finland is all about underachieving, never reaching the actual skill level, we have a chronical fear of winning! No matter how well Finland gets to play their own system in hockey, we get lots of good shots but always the guy with the chance to score misses it, stick shaking in his hands at the crucial moment. Been like a disease that has only been cured temporarily once in 1995. Bwah.

I was at Grave's (SWE) gig last night and their bass player said to the microphone "You have some hockey problems" So true

Tonight's game against the U.S.A won't be any better. That's not a surprise. Finland has a b-side team

USA will win Finland. Unfortunately, but it's true. Every year Finland is closer to... eh, junkyard?

I'm saying that Canada beat USA, and my cousin and I (mainly my cousin) has a grude against Canada. Reason: fans are thugs (that's my cousin's reason). Although, I don't know why I think this way, it's their only sport they're excellent at.

Btw, nothing bad or anything, but don't call me Neo. I am NOT The One...
