Do Something Creative!

Post by HvyMtlClickWitch » Sun Jul 03, 2005 4:09 am

Okay, i'm fairly sure we have all done something creative at least once. So, post it here. Drawings, poems, prosical writings, GP Tabs or midis, Photoshop nerdiness, what have you. Put something creative on this thread. South Park pictures don't count.

I have some Guitar Pro -shit on MySongBook.com under name Orcblood, but all those are quite old and need some serious re-arranging.

Some characters/maps from the legendary fantasy parody tales of mighty Tarinasivu:

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16509163298.jpg&s=x4

As you can see, I'm not a really talented artist, those are only made to give the reader an idea of the outlook of the characters.

Then there's this:

putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16509342529.jpg&s=x4

It's the Old Man Willow from The Lord of the Rings. I did that back then when I "played" in a "band" with that name. :P

I have done very many MIDI songs, maybe over 100. But I can't put them here, because I haven't got own website...
Also I have some "movies" but I still haven't that website :(
Maybe I draw some picture sooner...

I point to my signature, I have some crappy tunes online on my fantabulous muzak site.
I've also done craploads of graphic design semi-professionally, but I'm too lazy to upload any of that.

I have some poems, but in spanish, so the translation would be some embarrasing. I am not a professional writer, so imagine the quality of the poems. All of them are quite introspective, BTW.

I record myself whistling Stratovarius songs!
I recorded myself whistling the full version of Dreamweaver in low quality about a week ago, but lost the mp3 :(.

I am going to however record myself fully professionally sometime in the next week or so. When that time comes, i shall post it here.

So here you can download my midi "Shadow of the Sun" (it's wma-file with better sound quality):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=36ZL6TX5
It's very slow song and from my "midi album" called Evolution.
Download if you want, 7.03 mb.

If you don't want to listen whole song, i recommend to listen it from this point: 01.39

I write poems, in finnish and in english too, it depends on the mood I have on. Because finnish is so funny language, i prefer it better :D . Yes, Finland is THE word.

Another midi-song from me:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=35N42N3X
Title is Heavy Smoker. Like Shadow of the Sun (check my last post in this topic), this is slow song. And like title says, quite heavy.

I have done nothing creative... This doesn't count, but I'm going to send my Creative mp3-player to product support...

I tried to draw something, but it turned out as a huge failure. My skills as a drawer just plain suck... But that's okay, at least I was creative...

I'm currently 129,000 words into my fantasy fiction novel, but I'm not going to post it. That's about 5% of the size that I expect the finished thing to be.

Instead here's a picture of me doing a Max Payne impression.

I have done some "novels" too, but they are parodys...
The main parodys are of Star Wars (and Pikkusielu has also lots of parodys).
I have also some own storys.

Mine's not a parody, it's a fully original story. I only started writing it because there was no way I'd ever make the computer game or film and I didn't want to waste the story. I'm really impressed with it though, but it's going to be massive. It'll take a long time for me to get it written. I can post a few extracts if anyone wants to see them.

No one wants to see them.
And just because you end up writing a book thats really long and thick, that doesn't mean that it'll get published and people will buy it. It also doesn't mean that anyone here cares to read it.

Great job wooing us with your "Max Payne" impression, by the way.

Bah, who am I kidding, I'm just grumpy because of sleep deprivation :(

Have you done lots of those parodys? I mean that I'm quite interested of Star Wars...
