Cool... I'm waiting how Kong vs. T-Rex fight is created. My crappy modem is trying to load now that teaser for a "while"

EDIT: Kong looks too small. Maybe they fix it to movie

Thats what we need to brighten up our movie-going. Another Remake! :)

War of the Worlds was a great idea, though. And I'd love to see "The Day the Earth Stood Still" redone with modern-day actors.

I hear there is going to be "Conan the Barbarian" redone, with either Vin Diesel, or The Rock as Conan. I need to check on that on Imdb. But, I like the first Conan movie. I hope this new one does not dice it up too much.
The "Planet of the Apes" was a disgrace to the old one, even though the remake was OK on its own merits.

As for King Kong. Sure, I'd see it, probably. But remakes usually just cannot hold a candle to the older original.
Just think in 20 more years there will be a remake of Terminator, Raiders of the Lost Ark, or  Star Wars! What will we tell our grandchildren! :)

Err :P Lucas has once planned to direct original star wars trilogy again, but now it seems to be history (luckily  )

I have never liked monkeys. At least not in nature documentaries. :P
But anyway I will probably check this out just because it's Peter Jackson's movie.

The guy responsible for the Lord of the Rings trilogy? Well, then, this new King Kong movie may be very good, then. Thank you for that information! :)

:o It's some kind of funny to talk of Peter Jackson as "ultimate mastermind director", because his career's only super hit has been Lord of the Rings trilogy. His all other movies has been B-class monstermovies with horror. Not very popular. And then that little unknown guy from Australia made Lord of the Rings, J.R.R Tolkien's masterpiece to movie. And that was cash hit :P It's quite amazing...

Well, let's see how good that King Kong is. Dinosaurs looks very good, but bit too "old fashion". Jurassic Park movies has still betters dinos, though.
And Kong looks too small, even old movie's Kong looked much bigger (I mean that VERY old movie from early days, not that 1980 re-movie).

Well, he made LOTR-trilogy - three movies on my top-5 all time favourite movies and I'm quite confident he hasn't lost his skills during these few years. :P

Yeah and they rock (at least Bad Taste and Braindead).
