Just curious... About 150 for me, including singles and EPs.

I'm honestly not sure, more than 100.. Although I have no idea how many

Somewhere between 400-500, 450ish if I include singles and EPs.

Do I have to count CDs with illegal stuff on them and blank CDs too?

i dunno the exact number, but it must be close to 400.

I got about 320 CDs.
Most of them are many different kinds of Rock/Metal (including Singles/EPs)
Some CDs are also Classical Music.

100-200

But just a couple of them are into the heavy stuff.

300-400...most of them are metal, but i also have other styles.

All Legal, no downloads. Total about 100.
OK, maybe I don't have too many, but the ones I do have are really good, and my treasured favorites!
But, my oldies(LPs) that I am collecting are about 50, or so.
I will add more to that.

I'm over 500 now at least don't know exactly how many. But lately I haven't
bought so many CDs. But soon I'll go to Stockholm and then .........

I did this neat thing where i counted one row of cds, then multiplied by the number of rows, then tried to add the stack that's sitting next to the rack because it won't fit...oh, i just realised that i didn't factor in the box sets, which are on the other side of my room...

Do vinyl albums count?? I didn't add those in. What about cassettes? Or is it only CDs??

I guess the point is that i selected 300-400, but it's probably in the 400-500 range? i don't know.

Right now I have about 150 CDs or something, but also near 400 cassettes I got between 1987 - 1993. My goal was to get on CDs all my former cassettes, but there are a lot I can't find anywhere, anymore.

About 60-80. Haven't counted them for a while. I have five singles, the rest of them are whole albums.

I have a CD shelf that holds about 450 and it's not quite full, so I'd say somewhere past the 300 mark but not quite at 400 yet. I haven't counted. But I do know that is a safe estimate.

I just counted recently and I am up to 533 CD's. It's a pretty extensive and wide ranging collection. I have all my main influences on one rack. These would include of course all my Stratovarius CD's, but also my Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani, MacAlpine, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Helloween, and Dream Theater collections as well.

Go a little lower down and you find stuff like Ozzy, Anthrax, Megadeth, (old)Metallica, Europe, TNT, Living Colour, Mr.Big, White Lion, Dokken, King Diamond, AC-DC, Whitesnake, Dio, Queensryche, etc.

Then there is my classics portion which has stuff like Journey, Deep Purple, Rush, Pink Floyd, Boston, Styx, Yes, Zeppelin, Asia, Hendrix, The Doors, and Frank Zappa.

Then the odds and ends rack has all my Vivaldi, Bach, and Chopin collections on it as well as some albums by U2, Peter Gabriel, Jan Hammer, The Cult, Faith No More, Phil Collins, Genesis, Billy Joel, Sting, The Police, Bob Marley , and some 80's pop like Duran Duran and A-Ha

I am starting a new rack for some of the newer bands I have gotten into like Nightwish, System of a Down, Children of Bodom, and Shadows Fall.

There is a lot more but this is just a brief overview of my best stuff.

300-400 at the mo, if i didn't throw a load out last year i'm sure it would be 500-750

Well... must be something around 300-400, but I'm not sure, probably even more. It grows and grows... and there are so many more albums of so many more good bands. In the moment I'm completely blown away by the latest Samael-album (Reign of Light) - I just can't get it out of my CD-Player. Guess my neighbours already hate me

44. I just counted. Mostly power metal, and a little grindcore, hip-hop, and chillout. Most of my music is digital - I have over 5,000 songs on my computers.
As for cassettes and vinyls... 3 and 15, respectively.

are we talking about original cd's.?
...if yes i have about 70
