James Doohan, 85, the actor who played the Lovable Scotty on the first Star Trek Series is dead.
He played a character who was humorous, given to drink&pretty women but, yet was a very intelligent, indispensible member of the Enterprise crew.
He was honored a short while ago by given a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. IMO, Mr. Doohan deserves it!
Personally, he is one of my all-time fav Star Trek characters--especially for his work on my fav episode, "Trouble With Tribbles". Very cute episode, indeed!

We will miss you, Scotty, but will always remember&continue watching your work!

By the way, I've never actually watched Star Trek. One point is that I'm not interest and another is that Star Trek hasn't ever been on TV... I mean of course it have been, but not in those channels which can I see in here junkyard... I mean in Ivalo.

LOL! Here is the scene from the "Trouble with Tribbles" where the Klingon is picking a fight with Scotty. He insults Scotty right&left, but Scotty keeps his cool. Then, Klingon insults the Enterprise&the fists fly! LOL! Scotty tells the Klingon you can insult a man, but never insult his Ship!
