Did DF forum FINALLY get rid of that hateful, smartass female mod they used to have? The one who used to bash Strato&Tolkki all the time, and stir up the other users into during so? And don't get me started on that SPIRAL creep! I'm not like some warped people who thinks its acceptable to bash people for Sport on a Forum. At that time, those people were the type to think complimenting someone is worse than bashing/slagging! How warped/twisted is that?
I got the impression then that people there thinks its OK to bash people. What a fucked up World!

Off my Soapbox now, because that was a couple years ago&hopefully that Forum has stopped bashing Strato&Tolkki.
Maybe by now they have deleted all that insane, bashing shit. Hopefully.

Considering how Tolkki behaved in the last several years, I don't blame people at the Dragonforce forums saying all sorts of nasty stuff about him. They felt betrayed, and Tolkki was acting like a psycho. You really gotta check out that streaming jens interview thing that they posted here, it sums up how everyone felt because of Tolkki...betrayed.

But I do not think that it is the role of a moderator to incite such hateful discussion, in any case.

These bashings occurred BEFORE his illness. I have not been to that Forum in a couple years. Someone on this Forum over 2 years ago remarked how anti-Strato that forum was, so out of curosity I paid them a visit&was disgusted by the bashing of Strato on that board. This was quite a while BEFORE the "StratoMess" started.
Anyway, all that may have ceased by now.
I don't know why anyone would personally feel betrayed by Tolkki--he was sick. I think he is allowed to be human with human faults. People make mistakes sometimes. But all that is over now, hopefully.
I'll go to that Forum someday&check it out--I bet it has changed--I do not think htcdude would be on a hateful forum!

EDIT: I just went there&they posted alot of rules about bashing other people, and so on. It looks as if they cleaned up their act! Cool!

I refuse on principle to go on the DF forums. My friend got banned from there for supposed 'Anti-American sentiment' when he just made a few comments.

However, people are continually bashing Muslims on that forum, and my friend happens to be a Muslim.

I think they're just a mess. Strato forums are way better.

Yep--shes still there, but I noticed she has lightened up herself on the hateful rhetoric! I bet the band did not even know what was going on in their own forum, and when they discovered all that Nasty BS, I can imagine they'd be pretty pissed, because a shit-slinging forum gives a bad name to a band as well, if they tolerate such Crap!
Like I said it had been a couple years since I'd been there&I was glad those rules against bashing people were put up--I hope they will be enforced, FAIRLY&IMPARTIALLY!
BTW, someone told(posted) them over 2 years ago to stop bashing Strato, and guess what? THEY were bashed! THATS how crazy that DF Forum had gotten!
