Stratovarius Community

If you could make up your own all-stars band from members of other bands, who would be in it? Post who would be playing what, and which bands they are originally from. So for example mine would be:

male: either TK or Bruce Dickinson (i love his stance and voice)
keys: JENS, DUH!!!!!! or Alex Starpoli (i really like his classical arrangements)
guitar player; now this is where it gets interesting, Tolkki is my favorite guitar player so he is a must, but the second guitar player is either Van Halen or Steve Vai (completely different styles i know! that is what makes it interesting, imagine if they jammed together.....)

MetalAngel: Aquiles Priester best drummer ever? His drum solo on Angra's dvd was not that great.... Jorg's solo on Visions of Europe and Anders' solo on one of HammerFall's dvd were FAR better. Still, Aquiles is not bad at all , but the hidden treasure is Carlos Cantatore!

Well, Mike Terrana is also not so bad as a drummer. I saw his solo on a video with his former band, before he played with Rage. Amazing. But, the fact that he bate himself on his head, while he was playing double bass drum, was strange and ridiculous...

To be honest, I found it really hard to pick a bassist. I can't think of one that really stands out. Dirk's got comedy value though. He'd make the inlay sleeves really funny with his comedy poses.

It was a real toss-up between Jorg or Dan for drums. And it was equally close between TK and Tobias. I'll probably change my mind later on.

Actually, you can see HammerFall doing that in one of their many DVDs (they play a cover of Judas Priest's "Breaking the Law"). I don't remember all of the switches, but I do remember that Joacim Cans played the guitar and Oscar Dronjak sang (horrible!!!!!!!! ).
