US Open 05

Post by Equinox » Thu Sep 08, 2005 12:53 am

Who likes Tennis here?

U?

U?

Well...I know U don't so, go away.

Anyway, so, we're in the at Q4 at the Open.

Venus and Serena are out.

Agassi is still playing.

Rafael Nadal is out, beaten by NYer Blake

# 1 R. Federer is playing.

Sharapova is still winning like a machine.

And good news for u Finnish ppl:

A Finnish tennis player who accomplishes what no other from his country has done in Grand Slam history, including being the first Finn to finish in the top 50 in the ATP rankings.

And that is: Jarkko Nieminen.

So...what's ur predictions?

Tonight, Agassi and Blake will battle.

I want Blake to win.

Go Blake!
:P

DAMN YOU, RODDICK! THE ONLY MAN BORN FROM OMAHA!!! DAMN YOU!

meh, I used to follow tennis off and on, but that was when the NHL was in their lockout. More than likely Aggasi will win, but (not that I'm a tennis expert) from what I've seen, Federer and Sharapova will probably go all the way.
Somehow I still have an account...yay...?

Roddick lost in the 1st round.

I think his mojo will have more luck next time.

Well, right now, he's loosing:

3-6, 3-6, 6-3.

Go Blake.

Damn Ginepri! He was lucky though; Coria played like crap. Besides, all the Argentines are better in clay.

Federer will perish against Nalbandián.

Go Nalbandián!!! :D

Another one? Mmm, I wouldn't be completely sure... They claim to have invented football, but it is well known that many cultures had been playing games with a football for a loooong time (for example, the Mayans, long before the British). If anything, the British came up with the modern rules of the game.

I love Coria because he defeated Massú. :D

ALL of the players I was cheering for lost. :x :(

With Nalbandián, Nieminen and Blake out, I don't really care anymore (although I never cared for Blake... I was really going for Nalbandián and Nieminen).
