Well, enough people use it that it is still being made, marketed, and bought. Wal-Mart does not sell it anymore, but the big electronic merchants still have it. It has lots of drawbacks, but a Classic Webtv is down to 30 bucks now&the newer model is about 100 USD.
Webtv was orginally thought up by Gates to bring Internet to poor folks!
