well.. question is simple: what do you long for?
some people long for love, or a better world, some for posessions and money.. what's your wish?
just share your thoughts..

For true fulfillment of the Golden Rule on Earth. Then, everything will fall into place.

There will never be a perfect world, but I'd like to see how close we could get to that point!

Right now, I'm longing for the weekend to begin so I can get some rest... :tired:

im looking for my musical formation and for a good career if possible.

and...im looking for a cool metalhead girl that i dont find.

I long for StratoRarities.

I long for harmony.

Right now, I long for a job to have money so I can rent a house to get away from here...
In the future...I long for the person that really loves me and wishes to be his all life with me...
I long for a family and for having a baby one day...

to be as happy as possible. To see my son growing and becoming a good man. Waiting a band that can take the place of Iron Maiden when Harris says " it´s over"! Living every day trying to find the good things of life, and trying to ignore as much as possible the bad situations....

The only thing I long for, is, to pass this era. meaning this age. I want to be a grown up man already and stop feeling the shit that we feel.

And for Cancer before my mother dies.
I want to show her, that there is hope, even in death, that she have to be strong, strong a never give up. I want to help her overcome that. By my own ways.

My mother had cancer too... when I was 15. It was discovered in time, so she survived, but it totally changed her. She is always ready to die. :/ But I'm happy, that she is still here, and I have to thank God/Destiny for her presence.

I hope, that your mother comes over this period, and that she can survive cancer. There's always hope left.

I only long for peace and happiness... only two words, but weighty meanings.... Many people on this planet never experience them

Well you see, communism CANNOT work; it is impossible for everyone to be equal. There will always be a leader or an elite group that will run the countries.

You're right. We just have to see the wise nature: There's always a leader, there's always a weak one and an strong one.
And there's nothing we can do about it. Plus, it could be so unfair, cause there's always people who really work for what they want and there's people who don't give a sh*t about work and they still think they diserve everything...

Also there's power...that always fuck up with the people's mind.

which is the main point in my theory why there will never be a communist society, it involves PEOPLE!!! think about it there are the lazy, the greedy, the weak, the strong, the dishonest, the hard working, the leeches, people need drives and motivation if you are the same as the next joe and he doesnt generate anything worth a crap then why would you?

My mother had Cancer, too(bladder cancer)&defeated it in 1995. She went through Hell, though. I long for that disease to be eradicated one day.

I long for my son to have a happy&long life with a good job&a girl that loves him and treats him well.

On a selfish note, I long for 2007&maybe Stratovarius can play close to where I live!

dont worry there are PLENTY of more selfish things to ask for than that!

I think Stratovarius' song "Will my soul ever rest in peace?" describes me and what I long for. The lyrics of that song fit me like a glove.

I also long for a cure for cancer. I lost my Mom to cancer in 2000. Watching someone you love go through what she went through..... those were some of my darkest days. She never complained though, and was always smiling, even though I'm sure she knew her time was short. She is the strongest and bravest person I have ever known.

The world has lost a lot of great people to cancer.

Enough with the sadness.

I long to see Stratovarius in concert.

I long to see the Cleveland Browns finally get to, and win a Super Bowl. The Browns are American Footballs version of the Boston Red Sox. They get right to the edge, and then something terrible happens out of the blue and we end up losing. We are cursed!!! LOL

Communism is a wonderful idea on paper. On paper.

Human nature prevents it from being even remotely workable, and trying to make it work is impossible.

But I long to see the people I love truly happy, and for justice to be served wherever it is needed.

I totally agree with you NeonVomit. The idea is great, but it's impossible to make it work. We are humans, and from 6 billion human beings, you can always find some people (some? a lot!) , that will make it impossible.
