Ok I looked through the old topics and I couldn't find one like this already, so...

I'm curious-- do you people have/collect t shirts of your favourite bands?
List 'em here!

By far the coolest shirt I have is my Iron Maiden shirt, "Can I Play With Madness". Yep, and it's an original, not a reprint. It has the entire "Seventh Son" World Tour dates on the back from 1988. I got it when I was 13 years old so it doesn't really fit anymore. It hangs in my closet. I will keep that shirt forever because it has high sentimental value, for reasons I won't disclose  !

I also have a Stratovarius shirt "Phoenix", another Iron Maiden shirt, this one is a reprint, "The Trooper", a Steve Vai shirt "Passion and Warfare", obviously a reprint since I got it earlier this year at one of his concerts here in Orlando. And an Yngwie Malmsteen shirt that I got at the G3 concert in 2003.

I have a "Marshall Amplification" shirt, and a "Jackson Guitars" shirt. Do shirts about your gear count?

For me everything started many years ago with a t-shirt from Offspring with the "Smash"-motive.
Today I've quite a lot shirts from bands. My two favourites are the Phoenix-Shirt of Stratovarius, and the red White Pony-Shirt of Deftones (my Avatar).

My first metal T-shirt was an Stryper "To Hell with the Devil" one, from 1988. :)

The ones I still have and keep on wearing are:
- Helloween's The Best The Rest The Rare cover (I have it for about 10 years now and I won't never get rid off it! :D )
- Rata Blanca's Entre el Cielo y el Infierno cover
- Angra's Fireworks Brazilian Tour
- Helloween's Time of the Oath cover
- Stratovarius' Destiny cover
- Nightwish girlie
- Stratovarius' Firelily girlie
- Kotipelto's Coldness girlie
- Kotipelto's Coldness longsleeve
- Stratovarius' SouthAmerican Tour 2005 8)
- Crypto's girlie (Crypto is a local Metal Bar, the best one in Lima)

I only wear them on weekends (I have to wear "seriously formal" for my boring bank job), on summer every weekend and on winter whenever I go to a gig (too cold to be short-sleeved in regular days).

Rock On!

I have a whole collection of metal-shirts and still update them at least once per year when I'm on Graspop. This year I bought the "Soundtrack to your Escape"-Shirt from In Flames.

My first metalshirt ever was Iron Maiden - Ten Years, which I bought in London 14 (!!!) years ago (Boy, I'm growing old...:?) I still have it, although there's more holes than cotton now...

I also got two white metal-shirts, one from Alice in Chains and one from Ayreon. This should be compatible with israeli summer I guess... :)

'cause the shirts are black (dead on isralic summers) or other people would kill you?
I only wear them on weekends (I have to wear "seriously formal" for my boring bank job)
you're working in bank in south america? I work too in a bank but in switzerland
any serious shirts you can wear in the bank but not in front of the clients and I don't think about a slayer-shirt :D

I have any shirts of stratovarius, nightwish and sonata arctica (they have everytime beautiful merchandises!) and only one of primal fear, within temptation and ac/dc (was my first shirt and too expensive because I have bought it on the concert - never I'll do it again!).[/quote]

Yeah, I've been working in the financial market for 9 years now. I'm not in touch with clients (I work in auditing and risk consulting), so I don't have to be strictly formally dressed, but we are forbidden to wear t-shirts, not even on fridays casual days :? .

@iron_thunder: I'm sorry Clare, that Stryper T-shirt didn't make it  . When it looked too old to wear it in public, it turned into my pijamas  , and after that, I think it got lost when I moved out from my parents house, many years ago.

I forgot to mention a Metallica's Black Album 1991 Tour shirt, which I still wear as pijamas up to now  .
