What you can be patient for? What can you suffer for? What things make you wait and be patient? Money? Love? Career? What can you do and how long can you wait for your goal?

Patience=waiting for new Stratovarius DVD. =P

Seriously, this is a good topic&I will edit, and expand my post whenever I have time to do so. And the patience. :D

I had to make my son a Happy Birthday banner, so now I can post. :)

Personally, I think I have quite a bit of patience, like when dealing with people&stuff like that. As far as waiting on fulfilling goals of the future, I think a person has to be patient because becoming impatient will not make destiny happen any quicker!
I had the patience of Job when I was married to my Ex--I waited years&years for him to change, and he still has not even after all these years. A leopard never changes its spots--especially if they think they are right! A parent has to be patient in dealing with a child, especially a teen--thats part of being a good parent.
As for my personal goals--the only goal I have is when I reach retirement age to have enough to live comfortably&not become a bag lady, or almost as embarassing, living with one's children, becoming like a child ones-self. :(

Patience is what I've had for many years and what I'm trying to keep for as long as I can.

I have patience for everything. Sometimes I don't have the patience needed though, and that is bad, but as a nonperfect human being, it's acceptable, I bet. :) Patience si very important. You have to learn to wait for the things coming in sight... or never reaching you.

I have a limited patience, but I won't tear anyone heads off out of the blue, but for some really REALLY dumb people who don't stop annoying me I can throw looks that are venom!

My patience... well, it's allmost as schitsophrenic as I am sometimes
I am extremely patient with my loved ones, at least try to be, when I don't feel so... :) but when talking about making music, or doing many other things, I am very unpatient, and get pissed if something doesn't come right :D but usually I try to pretend to be patient even when I'm not, since usually I think a lot more about other people than myself...

Patience?? What is that!??

No, I have not much patience. In love, I can't wait much to be honest. If something is not meant to be then I leave it cause I'm not stupid. (Love is so fragile, it's SO boring to wait AND life is just one. People don't get that). In the professional matter (I'm still studying) I'm working on it.

You, Nepi, Dave, Stealth and BEG :D

Many people, people that i like i think. You know, the ones i don't like are arrogant, narrow minded, they are judging all the time, they believe they have "the universal truth" of things, that kind of people don't deserve my patience.

So, the rest does deserve it :D

Oh and it's not that I block people. You see, I have two messenger accounts; one is exclusively for Stratoforum members, but I don't use it very often. :D I guess I should check it more often, especially now that I have more time.

Now I want to tell you my opinion about patience.

I think that of course not anyone or anything deserves to my patience. The most important think that deserver my patience is love. It’s morning glance eye-to-eye, it’s everyday meetings, it’s having dinner together and walking on the embankment, hand-in-hand… And that's all... Everything is simple.

I agree with you on being patient in case of "waiting for love / to be loved / to find THE love". As it's written and sung in that wonderful song by Coldplay:

For you I'd wait til kingdom come
until my days, my days are done
Just say you'll come and set me free
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me

But: I also have to be honest with myself. I'm kind of waiting for the girl of my dreams - a remote friend, a pen pal, who IMO is the love of my life. Still, I'm waiting for so long now - isn't life too short to be wasted like this? I dunno... Hopefully in the near future I'll be able to make the right steps and go on with my life - although if that can mean to let her go, if my dreams don't become true.

Patience... yeah, there's some sense in it though.

I think, that you should be patient towards everybody, or else how can you expect others to be patient with you?
