Is Nuclear Blast owned by WB?

I just picked up Primal Fear's "Black Sun" (released on Nuclear Blast, obviously) the other day, and I noticed the jewel case had the Warner Music logo engraved/embossed/watchamacallit on the front, like all CDs I have from Warner. Now, I know these metal "indie" labels are being purchased and bankrupted left and right, but I've totally missed any dealings between NB and Warner. Anyone know what's the deal here? Is it ownership or just some distribution deal or what?

It may be just that album, because last I checked, I don't think NB and TW have any business ties. It's possible that the band signed with both companies to take care of some recording situations or whatever, I dont know.

I'm not sure. It seems most of the recent released mention "Nuclear Blast / Warner" (sounds like "Road Runner / Universal")
You can Google ""nuclear blast / warner" to get some album titles.

It's weird, but the only indicator that WB is somehow involved is the logo in the jewel case. Not a word about it elsewhere.
Anyway, I found something on NB's website (
http://www.nuclearblast.de/blast_partners.php ); apparently Warner Music is the distributor in Germany. Somehow one of the CDs intended to be distributed in Germany found its way to Finland, then. That seems to be the extent of their co-operation.
