i know this is a metal forum and metalheads usually don't like red hot chilli peppers but is there anyone here who likes them??i do!

i used to, the last song i can recall that i loved was "soul to..." i don't know the rest, but the video was quite good, about a circus or something...
Nowadays i feel that all their stuff sounds the same over and over again.
But they rock for sure!

They were absolutely amazing in their funky debut. They really had something special, mixing punk and funk, plus tons of catchy great songs. They also made that uncredible Blood Sugar Sex Magik which is defintely one of the best albums of 199x. Then came One Hot Minute which had good funky stuffs but also boring "commercial pop" stuffs. And then, sorry, they became totally boring, poor songs, crap singing part, really far from how great they used to be. But one good point : Flea is still the same amazing "showman" on stage!

If I tell I thought of the actual red hot "chilli" peppers? Maybe I was too hungry...
Ontopic: I haven't searched them much, but the songs I see on TV all these years are a fine way for the time to pass...

I love them at least mostly, the stuff varies too much to be precise wich album is good and wich not, but generally I like them, I somehow really got into the funky feeling they have and can't get out

Soul to squeeze. I used to like them a lot when I was a kid. I still think they're great and have good songs and I like several of them. I respect them a lot, but I'm not a fan...

So, I just chop them up&put them in Chili con Carne.

You just made that sound like the dirtiest thing ever BEG damn, if I didn't know you better, I would speak of Banger Sister allready

Don't listen to them much but they're a good band, Flea is an outstanding bassist.

Flea and Chad kick ass...they're great musicians, but they were a really good band.

Now, they're getting worse and worse, album after album.

I agree too that Flea is an awesome bassist, one of the best in rock. But that´s actually the only thing which I like them. But though I like few their songs, but here in Finland the radios keep on playing RHCP way too much.
