I find that mediocre. I expected something much worse by the name, but it wasn't so bad.

But hell, why does no-one even try to make more unique music today. This band has that problem too. The guitar riffs, the song structure and especially the NAME of the song was, unimaginative. I probably wouldn't regognize this band from the mass. It's the problem of today's music.

Sorry, I'm a little over-zealous.

I ran across that video yesterday, been a big fan for a while and never got to see any footage before.

I love the fact that the singer just stands there with his arms at his sides and lets it all just pour out of him without performing the song really, just screaming it without worrying about putting on a show.

I LOVE that.

Sorry if you think it's a dumb thread, if you don't like it, why participate in it?

If Jens gives me mod/admin rights, I'll turn this forum into something new in... 6 days. This forum is different from the DotA one, it's smaller, but still needs some moderation, more rules and ways of reporting posts/topics. I myself don't find anything bad in posting a topic like this. Everyone has the right to share his/her thoughts and for example videos he/she likes. If a mod feels that it should be closed, then he/she will simply close it.

Yes. But it's not that difficult to learn it. But what is more important, you shouldn't be biased towards/against anybody. And of course, you need to be online quite much.

Beast_Pete, if you were moderator I'd be glad. And hey, I don't say one shouldn't post topics like this generally. But we had this thousands of times before: New users appear, start tons of new topics and thus flood the bord - and most of the time disappear afterwards. Just look what happened to "Stratovarius discussion in English". There's almost no topic anymore on the front page that has more than 1 page. All those small, short-term topics push the interesting ones out. That's what I don't like about it. You lose the overview. If there's just a margin of 50 posts that you need to have before creating new topics, new users can "learn", can accustom to this board. Then we maybe had a topic like "Me playing music of my favourite band" or "Cool Music Videos" or stuff like that. And not countless topics about the same thing.

I know what you are saying about a ton of topics that go nowhere but if no one responded to something like this it would disappear under he weight of it's own irrelevance.

Continuing to post in it and going off topic within it only keep it alive on the front page longer than it deserves to be.
