I know that this topic should be in the spam section of this forum, but please, let it here, because it's not a spam topic, it's a topic where you can say all what you want to the persons you want through songs lyrics.

So, here I begin with two Shania Twain's songs called "From This Moment On" and "You're Still The One", I want to dedicate to my gf I love from the deepest of my heart! My Sunshine, I'm sorry for having hurt you. That wasn't what I wanted to do. Please, let me another chance to prove you that I can make you happy! I love you!!

From This Moment On :

(I do swear that I'll aways be there.
I'd give anything and everything and I will always care.
Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow,
for better or worse, I will love you with
every beat of my heart.)
From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on

From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on

I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment on

You're the reason I believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
From this moment
I will love you as long as I live
From this moment on

You're Still The One :

(When I first saw you, I saw love.
And the first time you touched me, I felt love.
And after
all this time, you're still the one I love.)
Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'

They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

Wow, man sounds like you've been totally owned by a chick! :D

Anyway, I'd like to dedicate this song to both the generals of the Israeli Armed Forces and the militants of Hizbollah. Both of you are guilty of war crimes and deserve to spend the rest of your lives in prison.

2 Minutes To Midnight

[Smith/Dickinson]

Kill for gain or shoot to maim
But we don't need a reason
To Golden Goose is on the loose
And never out of season
Some blackened pride still burns inside
This shell of bloody treason
Here's my gun for a barrel of fun
For the love of living death

The killer's breed or the Demon's seed,
The glamour, the fortune, the pain,
Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain
But don't you pray for my soul anymore.

2 minutes to midnight,
The hands that treaten doom.
2 minutes to midnight,
To kill the unborn in the womb.

The blind men shout "Let the creatures out
We'll show the unbeliverers."
The napalm screams of human flames
Of a prime time Belsen feast ... yeah!
As the reasons for the carnage cut their meat and lick the gravy
We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies.

The killer's breed or the Demon's seed,
The glamour, the fortune, the pain,
Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain
But don't you pray for my soul anymore.

2 minutes to midnight,
The hands that treaten doom.
2 minutes to midnight,
To kill the unborn in the womb.

The body bags and little rags of children torn in two
And the jellied brains of those who remain to put the finger right on you
As the madmen play on words and make us all dance to their song
To the tune of starving millions to make a better kind of gun.

The killer's breed or the Demon's seed,
The glamour, the fortune, the pain,
Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain
But don't you pray for my soul anymore.

2 minutes to midnight,
The hands that treaten doom.
2 minutes to midnight,
To kill the unborn in the womb.

Midnight
Midnight
Midnight
It's all night

Midnight
Midnight
Midnight
It's all night

I'll dedidate this song written by Timo Kotipelto, to my bf that i love so much!

WHAT CAN I SAY?

Sometimes it's not that easy finding all the words
For how I feel when you are near
The more we are together makes me realize
All I ever wanted is you

What can I say?
You make all my dreams come true
And every day I want you right here by my side
To take my hand and hold me tight
I never want to be alone again

Oh, my love...

The days are shorter now
I'm reaching for some light and I find it in your eyes
Brighter than the sun it filled me up with love
Don't ever close them for me

What can I say?
You make all my dreams come true
And every day I want you right here by my side
To take my hand and hold me tight
I never want to be alone again

Oh, my love...

Yes, I know baby
It takes a world to keep what we have and not let go
I was lonely before I met you
But you wiped away all the sorrow

What can I say?
You make all my dreams come true
And every day I want you right here by my side
To take my hand and hold me tight
I never want to be alone again

Oh, my love...

I dedicate this great song to someone who has departed this life a few years ago, she was so dear to me.

Earth And Sky by Steel Prophet

Sometime, when I look up at the sky
The night sky, night sky so vast
I wish, I wish upon a star
Your star, it burns so bright to me

Oh earth and sky, I wish upon your star
Your star's still there
You've gone away, it seems eternally
Your star's still there
It burns inside of me

Long ago, you broke the chains
You travelled on, you sailed the stars
I was left behind
The tears they burned in me
I long to be joined again

My time here, seems like empty years
Waiting to see you again
I believe, oh I do believe
Our circle will start again

Yeah, it seems like a lot of people here are completely pwned. Come on now, keep it metal! :headbang:

I dedicate this to my old coworker Jay.

There’s something foul with my oral opening
I can not seem to control it, I object to everything
You know, I’m talking all the time
But I’ve got bupkiss to say
The ka-ka my vocal cords produce
Even outdid my ass today

Shut up!
Shut up!
Shut up!

Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to

Pseudo-provocative, I haven’t got a clue
What I’m referring to, I just argue ’til I turn blue
The sound of my own voice gives me

An intellectual high
I get off on my own arrogance

I’m so cynical I could cry

Shut up!
Shut up!
Shut up!

Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to

My mouth’s in good shape
My lips are itching
Spare me some duct tape

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah

Shut up!
Shut up!
Shut up!

Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to
Speak when spoken to

And I dedicate this one to myself, the only person who's been there for me without fail through my whole life.

Wind passes right through my skin as I fall down, this furious speed will only destroy me.
Crippling and devastating momentum, approaching maximum velocity.
And this is how it's going to be, the point of it all.
'Cause this is what was meant for me, recklessly I fall.

Hulking, smashing, I come crashing, nothing like when I was small.
I am unstoppable, I am the cannonball.
That feeble coward that you knew has undergone an overhaul.
I am unstoppable, I am the cannonball.

Thirty-two feet per second I increase, as the exponents will multiply.
I'll never stop to look back behind me, cutting through the bright blue sky.
And this is how it's meant to be, untethered I will soar.
I'll barrel towards the earth below, it's what I was made for.

Unblemished, and faultless. A burning luminescence.
Unequaled precision, beyond your scope of vision. Cannonball.

I dedicate this to me (cause I'm so selfish person, or maybe for some other reason):

Eternal Tears of Sorrow - The River Flows Frozen

Like frozen leaves
We are falling
On to the soil so barren and cold

The rays of sun
No more warming
Our hearts now so cold

Through this field
Of the withered flowers
We go still one more time

The hidden beauty
Forever gone
The river's frozen once again

So came this time
When moonlight blackened my heart:
I can't stand this pain

The chain is broken
It's tearing open my scars:
I want to feel the flame...again

The shine behind
The frozen stream
Reminds me of your eyes

The spark of hope
Still in my heart
Shall dreams become true under the ice?

I dedicate this song to my older brother, who was killed in car accident in -92.
Rest in peace, man. :(

Quiet Riot - Thunderbird

Hello you
yes it's me
You can't come back
Your flyin' free
You think you found
Everything that you need

Fly away, fly away
To your new home
Across the seas
Oh leave your nest
Oh baby leave the best thing
That you've been
Whoa, whoa, whoa

Fly on, Thunderbird fly
Fly on, spread your wings to the sky
Fly on, Thunderbird fly

On your own
And I'm alone
In the shadow
Of what we done
And I can't help but think
That someday
You'll be back home

Fly away, fly away
To your new home
Across the bay
And give your best
Ooh baby leave the best thing
That you've been
Oh, oh, oh

Fly on, Thunderbird fly
Fly on, spread your wings to the sky
Fly on, Thunderbird fly

When all is said
All is done
Still I live
And carry on
Don't look back
But think of me
We'll meet again
Fly away

Fly on, Thunderbird fly
Fly on, spread your wings to the sky
Fly on, Thunderbird fly

Fly on, Thunderbird fly
You've got fly away
Fly on, spread your wings to the sky
On to the sky
Fly on Thunderbird...
Fly!

Dedicated to every islamic terrorist in the world, especially to Hasan Nasralla:

S.O.D. - Kill Yourself

Can't take it, never could
Time to end it, wish you would
Friends and family, they're all gone
Life for you is just a con
Dig yourself a hole in the ground
Push up daisies six feet down
Take a dirt nap, buy the farm
Inject a bubble in your arm
[CHORUS]

Kill yourself, kill yourself
Why don't you kill yourself

Don't rely on no one else
End it all just kill yourself

Life is just a one way ticket
Everyone must go around
Here's a bucket go and kick it
Slit your wrists without a sound
When you fo don't make a big deal
No dramatics, don't overplay
Cause don't you know that we'll all fell
Better once you've gone away
[CHORUS-MOSH PART]

You're a loser, there's nothing left for you
A worthless loser, at everything you do

Dedicated to the general situation in the Middle East:

S.O.D. - Fuck The Middle East

Fuck the middle east
There's too many problems
They just get in the way
We sure could live without them
They hijack our planes
They raise our oil prices
We'll kill them all and have a ball
And end their fuckin' crisis
BEIRUT, LEBANON-Won't exist once we're done
LIBYA, IRAN-We'll flush the bastards down the can
SYRIANS and SHIITES-Crush their faces with our might
Then Israel and Egypt can live in peace without these dicks

More like side project. The band had 2 albums in 14 years (1985 and 1999) and then broke up due to their singer, Billy Milano, being an asshole.

Anyway, political correctness wasn't their strong side :)

Tell me about it... but I LOVE S.O.D anyway! I was going to dedicate the lyris to this sone to our sons and fathers and moms and daughters in the METO (middle eastern theater of operations)

Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue (The Angry American) Lyrics - Toby Keith

American Girls and American Guys
We’ll always stand up and salute
We’ll always recognize
When we see Old Glory Flying
There’s a lot of men dead
So we can sleep in peace at night
When we lay down our head

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye
But he flew a flag out in our yard
Until the day that he died
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me
To grow up and live happy
In the land of the free.

Now this nation that I love
Has fallen under attack
A mighty sucker punch came flyin’ in
From somewhere in the back
Soon as we could see clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your world
Like the 4th of July

Hey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin’ her fist
And the eagle will fly
Man, it’s gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin’ her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Red White and Blue

Justice will be served
And the battle will rage
This big dog will fight
When you rattle his cage
And you’ll be sorry that you messed with
The U.S. of A.
`Cause we`ll put a boot in your ass
It`s the American way

Hey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin’ her fist
And the eagle will fly
Man, it’s gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin’ her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Red White and Blue

here's a song i dedicate to a beloved woman in my life....soooo nasty  hahahaha

Tenacious D
Fuck Her Gently

This is a song
for the ladies
but fellas... listen closely

You don't always have to fuck her hard
in fact sometimes that's not right to do..
Sometimes u got to make some love
and fuckin give her some smooches too..
Sometimes you got to squeeze..
Sometiems you got to say "Please"..
Sometimes you gotta say "Hey,"
"I'm gonna fuck you.. softly"
"I'm gonna screw you gently"
"I'm gonna hump you sweetly"
"I'm gonna ball you discreetly"
and then you say "Hey, I brought you flowers"
and then you say "Wait a minute Sally,"
"I think I got sometin' in my teeth could you get it out for me?"
That's fuckin' teamwork!
What's your favorite posish?
That's cool with me, It's not my favorite but I'll do it for you.
What's your favorite dish?
I'm not gonna cook it but I'll order it from ZANZIBAR!
And then I'm gonna love you completely
Then I'll fucking fuck you discreetly
and then I'll fuckin bone you completely
but then I'm gonna fuck... you hard.....
Hard........

I wanted to post a "counter-lyrics", but I don't want to use the very nice idea of this topic for political discussion. So I post "A.D.D." in another section. And continue with a more peaceful one. There's still hope...

Mother watch your children
The iron fist of fear is ruling our lives
It's not too late to change the course
We can make this world a better place to be in
How much more do we want until we're satisfied?
What happens when we have what we want?
Acquiring more , still there's never enough
We forget those who really are in need
The end is near, or so they say
Selling peace with guns
Infinity - Where do we go from here?
Infinity - Where do we go from here?
Infinity - Where do we go?
Infinity - Where do we go from here?
Guns spitting (out the) message of peace everywhere
Is it really that we don't care?
See mercenaries of fear selling love
Telling salvation comes from above
Arrogance and fear walking hand in hand
We must see that there's much more to life than this
Mother see your children
Make us understand and help us to find the way
The answers lie inside
They are locked inside to the vault of truth for us It's time
to spread the word around
Be yourself and do what you want to do with your life
Remember, you get just what you give
You reap all what you sow
You are in charge of your own life Infinity...
You make your own way As long as you are here
Find your place in life
Make your dreams come true
There's so much more than this
A million ways to live
Unlock the door
To the universe with love
Free your soul

How can someone write a song like that? Or this one:
First of all, this is S.O.D., a joke band started by a bored Scott Ian during Among The Living recording sessions. All of the lyrics and music were written and recorded in 3 days. The result, an album named Speak English Or Die, became a cult metal record which influenced countless bands. The lyrics are intentionally rude, violent, offensive and politically incorrect ...

BTW, the title song lyrics are far more offensive than Fuck The Middle East ...

You also have to understand the context of this song - the year was 1985, arabic terrorism was strong, american marines sat in Lebanon and were targeted by various terrorist militias, Lybia was a main bad guy, like Iran today, Iran was pretty fresh from islamic revolution and was concidered a bad guy too (BTW, in those days Iran was at war with Iraq and USA actually helped Saddam) and the only arabic country that had a peace treaty with Israel was Egypt. So, 21 years ago this song could be concidered political, now it's just an example of how to offend maximum people in 27 seconds (the length of the song).

Sorry for turning to politics, that wasn't my intention

Dedicated to all the beloved people in the world. This is one of the most beautiful and emotional songs I've ever heard:

VNV Nation - Beloved

It's colder than before
The seasons took all they had come for
Now winter dances here
It seems so fitting don't you think?
To dress the ground in white and grey

It's so quiet I can hear
My thoughts touching every second
That I spent waiting for you
Circumstances affords me
No second chance to tell you
How much I've missed you

My beloved do you know
When the warm wind comes again
Another year will start to pass
And please don't ask me why I'm here
Something deeper brought me
Than a need to remember

We were once young and blessed with wings
No heights could keep us from their reach
No sacred place we did not soar
Still, greater things burned within us
I don't regret the choices that I've made
I know you feel the same

My beloved do you know
How many times I stared at clouds
Thinking that I saw you there
These are feelings that do not pass so easily
I can't forget what we claimed as ours

Moments lost though time remains
I am so proud of what we were
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits
Grant me wings that I might fly
My restless soul is longing
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits

My beloved do you know
When the warm wind comes again
Another year will start to pass
And please don't ask me why I'm here
Something deeper brought me
Than a need to remember

My beloved do you know
How many times I stared at clouds
Thinking that I saw you there
These are feelings that do not pass so easily
I can't forget what we claimed as ours

Moments lost though time remains
I am so proud of what we were
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits
Grant me wings that I might fly
My restless soul is longing
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits

Moments lost though time remains
I am so proud of what we were
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits
Grant me wings that I might fly
My restless soul is longing
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits

Moments lost though time remains
I am so proud of what we were
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits
Grant me wings that I might fly
My restless soul is longing
No pain remains, no feeling
Eternity awaits

Yes, Speak English or Die would certainly qualify as a cult classic. Frank Zappa also had quite a bit of material that could be considered both humourous as well as offensive. Do you recall an older album he had titled "Sheik Yerbouti"? 8)

take it as it comes dude hahahaha, there are many things going wrong in the world, worse than violent lyrics :P ...
i also find them kinda funny...(ye i have a raw sense of humor)...
you should take a listen to Dying Fetus, Skinless, Suffocation or Necrophagist, that's fucking violence!!! (and awesome bands :D )

...but i get your point anyway, this is pretty much fucked up

I want to dedicate the Luca Turilli's song called "Demonheart" to a member of my family, because she really has a demon heart...

Demonheart

CONFUTATIS MALEDICTIS TRAGEDY STORMS HIM WHEN DEMONS SPARE HER LIFE AND
ALL DISCOVER SHE HAS A DEMONHEART... DEMONHEART!
Feeling trapped in with the slimy creatures, now close to being killed
she soon revealed her forgotten, sad past first to herself they smelled
her flesh ready to be devoured but something happened they moved away
seeming to be frightened sparing her life Shocked again she opened the
gates of her tragic past and bloody images came back to her mind
She remembered the old mission the dark comet's goal beyond the suns
...the flight through that black hole...
CONFUTATIS MALEDICTIS TRAGEDY STORMS HIM WHEN DEMONS SPARE HER LIFE AND
ALL DISCOVER SHE HAS A DEMONHEART... DEMONHEART!
She lived again in some frames of sorrow that evil journey planned by
the Arias' exploring section to find new worlds But all that they found
beyond their system was the black portal depths of oblivion came back to
their world once opened it Arkan and the other warriors who observed the
scene could not feel the same way now about that girl
He moved to her taking her hand running away fast from his old friends
...all for her... he loved her...
CONFUTATIS MALEDICTIS TRAGEDY STORMS HIM WHEN DEMONS SPARE HER LIFE AND
ALL DISCOVER SHE HAS A DEMONHEART... DEMONHEART!

i dedicate this song to my mother. i don't think it needs an introduction ;)

I stand alone in the darkness
The winter of my life came so fast
Memories go back to my childhood
To days I still recall

Oh how happy I was then
There was no sorrow there was no pain
Walking through the green fields
Sunshine in my eyes

I'm still there everywhere
I'm the dust in the wind
I'm the star in the northern sky
I never stayed anywhere
I'm the wind in the trees
Would you wait for me forever?
