The first concert after Criss Oliva died. Tell me what's different.

Thanks for the link man. I'm a big Savatage fan, although several of my fave albums are post-Criss Oliva releases (Handful of Rain and Dead Winter Dead) though the one album he and Zak Stevens made together, Edge of Thorns, is certainly among their finest. Of course, there really isn't a bad album among the bunch, even the much-hated Fight for the Rock has its moments.

Anyway, it seems like the band is over, they haven't released any new albums since 2001 and their website hasn't been updated in ages. Last I heard drummer Jeff Plate is apparently in Metal Church, and Oliva and Caffery have recorded albums of their own elsewhere.

yeah, that video is awesome... savatage rule. well, old savatage, anyway...

hell. i wish i had been able to see them with criss playing. or seen them period, heh..
