Any fans of Nevermore in here? I've got four albums of theirs, Dreaming Neon Black, Dead Heart in a Dead World, Enemies of Reality and their latest This Godless Endeavor. I must say they're remarkably consistent in producing great albums. Endeavor in particular is most excellent. I'd be hard pressed to put them in genre, other than to say they're rather heavy ;) Plenty of heavy riffing, as well as very technical and complex patterns at times. Almost always very dark stuff. I'm sure there's some sound samples on their website, http://www.nevermore.tv/. Highly recommended stuff.

Oh, and they're from Seattle, so between Nevermore and Queensrÿche, that almost makes up for the entire Grunge scene ;)

Listen as soon as you can to the Politics of Ecstasy and the self titled album! Also the In Memory EP
Nevermore are one of my favourite bands by far. Except the Enemies of Reality album there isn't any other album that I don't like. My most favourite is Politics of Ecstasy

Check also Sanctuary. (the pre-Nevermore band of Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard) They released two albums: Refuge Denied (1988) Into The Mirror Black (1990)
