I think it sounds funnier in German. The voice actor that dubbed the part (in German) sounds more authentic than R. Lee Ermey did, and he was an actual drill sergeant in the USMC!

Yes, I definitely saw that clip, and it was positively hilarious! Monty Python is popular over here as well. One thing about Americans; never underestimate their ability to appreciate a good joke, even the British ones! Other Brit humor, such as the old "Young Ones" series, and "Ab Fab" were also a hit here as well.

In fact, one of our most iconic comedy series, "All in the Family" (which featured beloved bigot Archie Bunker) was based on the English "Til Death Do Us Part".

Haha! Borat might be able to learn a thing or two from this guy- and one of the keyboard intros almost (I did say almost...) reminded me of one of Jens' warbling Middle Easterny sounding solos from the past.
