problems with the Signature

Hmm, did I miss something? For some weeks now I cannot see any signaturs below our postings. Not mine, not yours. I often browse another forum based on the same layout, where all signatures are visible as usual. :? What about you? Do you have the same problem?

No sigs anywhere. Perhaps Jens could shed some light on this issue?

I think that signatures disappeared about two or three months ago!
But why JENS deleted our dear Signatures?

I remember awhile back Jens said if declining bandwidth became a problem, the sigs would be done away with.
So, maybe he disabled that function. ???

??? Maybe later I could try to find that post if it has not been deleted. ???

Yeah, I mean, I also noticed it as soon as it disappeared, but I always thought it's because of some mistake/error caused by me/my browser, or something. But just know I thought I could ask you others. Okay, so there's nothing to do right now.

Yes, I know, it's not the most important thing. But I like those signatures, it somehow tells something about ourselves.

Plus, I remenber him saying that he don't like signatures. If I'm not mistaken...

Perhaps the same reason I don't like eggplant.

I remember when we were allowed to have pics&banners in our Sigs.

Jens allows even big-Sigs in his forum, but its not many people there. ???

No idea. I think you're asking the wrong man. Maybe if you go thru all his post you'll find the one/answer you're looking for. :D

We could do this. But we should remember that Jens is very busy. I remember that I had a message to him in my OUTBOX for five months or so... ;-)

Myspace is easier...I sent him a message about it some months ago...But I didn't get any answer. It's probably something he did willingly. Take out the signatures I mean.
He answered some other time though.

I made it! I send MySpace message to Special J... I mean Jens! I hope he now give Signatures back...But it could take for a while because he is busy also...
Or is he?

Or maybe he doesn't want signiatures for whatever reason?

This board is not a democracy. It is a Jensocracy.

Hmm, well... wouldn't it be possible to prevent posting images as signatures? In another forum where I am registered it is only possible to use written signatures, which even cannot be longer than 4 lines.
Again, not that it matters too much. :P But I like those signatures, every member can express a little bit about oneself with them.

Doesn't surprise me that he doesn't like signiatures, he's quite minimalist when it comes to internet stuff...

You couldn't put images into your signature in this forum anyway as far as I know.

At the beginning we could have images&banners in our sigs, but Fred Derf(the last official Webmaster, remember?) disabled that capability when the Forum had its last major overhaul. ??? So, why did Jens say that? I think Jens meant the Slovenia trolls, but those dumbasses haven't been here in over 2 years! ???
