Stealth....yes, they are animals of some kind. There are many that are caught in the wild, and then there's a few that are bred for domestication. So, yeah, they're a lot like the animals we know. There's even a sort of taxonomy system to it. For example, as it was mentioned, Pikachu is a "mouse-type" pokemon, and there are bird-type and rock-type and...way too many others.

Actually, a quick Google for "pokemon taxonomy" just yielded this: some guy apparently took the time to figure out a scientific name for every goddamned Pokemon. Holy shit. I like Pokemon, but not that much.

Plus, the video games are worse. I went to my friends house the other day and I had to play one of those games in the N64 with his little brother...he beat the crap out of me like 3 times. The game is boring, slow-paced, not Metal Gear enough, stupid & colourful.

The stupidest game I've ever play...besides perfect dark and Turok.

I HATE people who either hate or like too much great rpg games.

Yeah, pokemon games (expect home console ones) are great.
(try out the first ones, you will like them. Why? Because they don't have any colors bothering you there )
