Nocturnal Rites is releasing a new album on May/June this year. I'm seriously extremely hyped up to tell the truth.

This band kicks some major ass, if you haven't heard them, you should really check them out, they're a thrash/power combination that seriously rocks. If you want to check 'em out I'd recommend listening to the Grand Illusion and New World Messiah albums. (Or, a bit easier, go to their Official Website, there they have a jukebox of some sort with some songs)

Tracklist follows:

1. Call Out To The World
2. Never Again
3. Not The Only
4. Tell Me
5. Not Like You
6. Leave Me Alone
7. Till I Come Alive
8. Strong Enough
9. Me
10. Pain & Pleasure
11. Fools Parade (Outro)

Actually, Jens Johansson was a guest in their last album (Grand Illusion) doing a keyboard solo on the song Cuts Like A Knife... Who else knows about this band?

Quite a good band! I mostly like their first albums (Tales Of Mystery And Imagination, The Iron Force) because I find their sound more old-school power metal. Of course that doesn't mean that I don't like the rest of their albums! New World Messiah & Grand Illusion were pretty nice albums!

Nocturnal Rites? Never heard of them...

Kidding... this is actually my favorite band at the moment! A-ma-zing stuffs!

I somehow agree with Maniac, the first albums were even more interesting that the recent material... especially "The Sacred Talisman" (and not "The Iron Force"), which sounds terribly like the best stuffs from Hammerfall with some parts from Halloween or Malmsteen. .Jonny Lindqvist is a great singer (and screamer), but the previous singer Anders Zackrisson was even better imo, at least he has something really "special". His sometimes sounds like Kai Hansen, Andi Deris or Joacim Cans.

Shadowland is their second best album in my album. Really good melodies and catchy songs.

One band that I would recommand to anyone who likes melodic and power metal, like Hammerfall, Gamma Ray, Helloween...

Edit : One info - all their albums are available for a mid-price at the moment (between 6,99€ and 8,99€)
If you live in France, the best deal is to order their albums from Amazon.fr, there is a special offer "buy 2 CDs, get the 3nd one for free".
