MMay I just point out to you all that you at the moment are in the (virtual) company of the number one Jens in the known universe!!! That's right.... typing 'jens' into google at the moment gives my retarded not-updated-in-ten-years homepage on panix as the NUMBER ONE HIT of about 43,000,000 or so.

You may dutifully congratulate me as I enjoy this moment and sit back and bask in the glory of my own infamy. I know that this glory, albeit sweet, is a fleeting one, because this has happened before, and for some reasons the fucking bastards at google seem intent of robbing me of my WELL DESERVED SPOT IN THE FUCKING SUN. I don't know how they calculate their fucking pagerank but it seems sometimes they get their numbers and wires and shit all messed up.. and my page is NOT number one... bah.

So – at the moment I will not harbor too much pride, or gloat too much with respect to the other 43,000,000 pages... many of which, sadly enough, actually have nothing whatsoever to do with me. Imagine that!! For example, that loser who's the prime minister of Norway

I've seen this before. Google does not give the same search results all over the world, it seems to depend on a few things.. sometimes it's due to local laws (eg China), sometimes it's just completely random. I suppose they have a lot of interconnected machines, it's not just one big web server.

edit: someone estimated google runs more than 100000 machines..... and that was in 2004.

There are many Jens Johannson/Johansson's. I remember on the Stato Pic Topic posting several pics of guys of all ages having that name, or slight varients.
