We have a few forumites from SP here, is everyone okay?

It's very, very sad, and the saddest thing about it, is that it was entirely preventable. There were a number of incidents involving the runway, which had been deemed unsafe and now the people responsible for it will have to answer for their lack of action.

Hope everyone's alright, as well as their loved ones.

That's even more sad considering that, like you said, pp already knew about the risks, but they didn't do anything because they prefered to save their money. Results : 200 dead pp. Completely stupid. With those circonstances, I dunno if we should call it an "accident" or a murder... :?

It is negligance of the highest order, and it is plain and obvious. If I worked in the Brazillian transport ministry, I'd be feeling very very nervous right now.
