RARE ASTRONOMICAL EVENT!!!!

between August 26-27, 2007 about MIDNIGHT, the planet Mars will look almost as big&bright as the full moon! It will seem as though 2 full moons are in the heavens! :D This happens only every 3000 years(about)so, try not to miss this spectacular natural event, and take pics&videos if possible!

I would say these are the signs in the heavens that is prophesized by many religions, but its just a normal, but VERY rare occurance---just enjoy the wonder! :)

OOOOPPPPPPS!
The above is a TOTAL HOAX sent by E-Mail Chain letter.
THIS LINK tells the true story:

Sorry. Crazy conspiracy theorists!

This is NOT a Hoax! 100 per hour which is pretty good! It is most visible in USA&Western Europe, but folks worldwide can catch alot of the natural fireworks as well! :funhi:
The shower starts to become apparaent about dark, but most visible about 10pm-after midnight.
I'm going to stay up to see it. :)

"X" Structure at Core of M51 Whirlpool Galaxy

Direct link to photo

Description page

While NASA officially describes this galactic phenomenon as an "X Structure", it does appear that "Mother Nature" drew a significantly less than symmetrical "X" shape in the galaxy's core.

However, upon careful reexamination of the photo, while the viewer tilts their head slightly a few degrees to the left, the "X" begins to take a dramatically different form altogether.

At the risk of this sounding like one of the "ink blot" card games with a therapist, what do you see when looking at the photo from the (slightly) alternate angle? :) Κύριε ἐλέησον!

When Jesus does arrive people better swallow(their own spit) because its going to be the last fluid they will have for a very long time! ;)

BTW, anyone see the Eclipse? It certainly was beautiful!

Oh, people don't have to worry about Jesus. ;)

Shows the coppery-red moon in various stages of eclipse. I can understand why ancient peoples were in awe of the eclipse. A breathtaking sight!
