Van Basten kicked out all the big names, and only kept Van Nistelrooy and Van Der Sar. I think he wanted to get rid of all the ego clashes and he did a good job of it.

France - Italy was a stupid match since the penalty and red card to Abidal...

So we have quarter finals yet:

Portugal - Germany
Croatia - Turkey
Netherlands - (Sweden or Russia)
Spain - Italy

Now, it's gonna start another Euro, completely different from first round...

Well, my overall predictions were pretty accurate, apart from forgetting that the final I predicted wasn't possible due to the organisational changes.

Anyhow.

Germany to squeeze past Portugal and face Turkey in the semi-final, and win. 2 people killed in street fights after the match.

Netherlands will overpower whoever they face.

Italy will luck their way through to the final.

Final: Germany v.s. Italy, Germany to win by 2-1.

Okay, I think I'm losing my touch.
