Being in Cyprus, I will root for Greece as a default. However, I have German and Spanish blood so those will be my other teams.

Croatia are not going to be as lethal as during qualifying due to Eduardo.

Austria should just pull out because they suck.

Switzerland will do okay.

Greece will be unable to replicate the miracle of 04, expect a 2nd round exit.

Germany are looking good

Netherlands will get to the semis, then lose.

Spain will look good in the first round, and then lose in the 2nd.

Russia will go out first round.

So will Sweden.

Turkey might make the semis.

Portugal will be in form and will be seriously pissed off from last time around and the world cup, wouldn't want to mess with them.

Czech Republic won't do as great as last time.

France will do well.

Romania are a dark horse, I expect them to make it out of the group of death.

Italy however will luck their way through.

Poland will go out first round.

Neon Prediction:

Portugal v.s. Germany in the final. 1-1 at full time, Germany will score in extra time to clinch it.

Are you a time traveller Neon?
I've put my bet on for Netherlands and I also got my son and girlfriend to pick teams out of a hat, they picked germany and croatia, so I put bets on for them too, although smaller amounts. :D

Spain is always favourite to get the final, but we always say goodbye in quarter finals, so...

Yup.

Anyway, the only thing I'm not sure of is Group C, I always have trouble guessing those sorts of groups.

It doesn't matter anyway since none of them are going to win it.

Group C is REALLY an incredible group. You always have trouble guessing those kind of groups? Well...the same for everyone who try it. It is a death group. It's a lot of difficult to guess who is gonna get first or second place. I think France and Romania won't get the next round.

Yeah, that's the most likely thing.

But the Euro has a habit of bringing up surprises!

it's getting bloody nearer!

the deathgroup will be very exciting but for me group A is the one to keep an eye... Switzerland, I hope they will do a good game!

but the group isn't that easy. I hope NeonV has right with Czech won't be as good as in the past....

Portugal and Czechs off to a good start. Thought the czechs were lucky to win it tbh, great defense and midfield from them but very little end product.

Come on Germany and Croatia! As I have two bets on for them! :D

What a terrible game, Sweden deserved to win that.

Greece might go out first round now, if they carry on in such an appalling manner.

Spain were all class today, however. Fantastic stuff.

Spain did great, other than the goal they let in, guess they thought they had it in the bag! Second goal was sweet!

I'm disappointed about Greece. I always support them too, but...they are playing really bad.

haha, he likes football?? I have a swedish colleague too here in my job and I just hope to make fun of him after Saturday match

In USA 94, Sweden had a very good national team. They get a third position there. I remember young Larsson, Dahlin, BROLIN! Wow, Brolin was all class, Schwarz (He played for Valencia FC for two years). I was 11 years old when USA 94 and I enjoyed a lot following Sweden in that world cup. I always have a special feeling for them too. So if Spain falls, I will support Hellas, and if Hellas falls, I will support Sweden, but it's gonna be difficult to see the things like this...

About Spain, well we have fantastic players as always, but we always say bye bye in the second round...This time we have a lot of young people there, I hope we can make something more. We have Villa and Torres and they are maybe one of the best forwarders in Europe right now.

Anyway, what a pity, because I know Jörg likes football and if Jens likes football too...would be REALLY FUN to talk in this topic about it with them. I just hope Jens come here to say something  . Jörg have an historical national football team, wow...Germany...
