I'm surprised no one has mentioned this movie yet.

And before you call me a "fanatical left winged anti religious prick" bear in mind that I believe it is a great movie, exagerated and skeptic as to where Peter Joseph got his sources.

BUT, it made me think, and that in and of itself is enough for me to share it.

debunks the film as totally anti-religion, anti-USA, anti-Christian. Zeitgeist is crammed full of hate speech.
People who readily believe in Zeitgeist's Bullshit ramblings, in all likelihood, always believed in them to start with.

The wings are stupid and neither can fly. With one wing all one can do is go in circles as he falls off a cliff. 3d models work better than just a vertical or horizontal map. So many issues and variations that thing's can't accurately be simplified. That’s one of the problems with the news. Little simplified spots of 10 seconds are given to make points and people are not allowed research time and the knowledge to form real discussion. One of the fun things I see the media doing is that people like to claim qualities as if they own them and force bad qualities upon their opponent as if they own them. Everyone has common sense to them and is a crackpot to others.

I guess collectivism and individualism work at indicators as well as social and economic. With those 4 a nice little chart can be made up like the ones on the internet. Of course then the variables and system of weighing comes to mind. In that situation there are lots of fun problems to deal with.

That link I posted did an excellent job debunkng Zeitgeist movie point-by-point. Since I know most will not bother to read it I'll copy&paste it all later.

Zeitgeist is just another one of those conspiracy theory promoters wrapped in a slick, pretty package. No more, no less.

@stratoplayer, there is no proposed NAU. Its just a conspiracy theory being promoted across the internet. Unfotunately, many gullible people believe its taking place.

There are always facts within fictions
Mass movements have caused both great suffering and great triumphs.
If they are going to use the mass movements of religion for political control as an idea, they must mention that (while due to sheer numbers), atheist movements have caused the most death with “might is right” and “most evolved” philosophy and the deeds of Hitler and Stalin and those that followed them.
There really is no winner in the fight to see who can act worse between atheists and theists.
