anywayz I think strato is over unless tolkki is back! cuz he might be very good in strato but its not necessary that he will be better in another band!

okay punk boy let me fill you in cause apparently you've missed out on a WHOLE lot.
Tolkki broke the band up earlier this year putting in an official statement saying that too many members were fighting so he was gonna start a new band.
Well a few weeks later the other members released another statement saying that Tolkki had never informed them of this decision and that they felt he had misinformed the fans.
Shortly after that Tolkki released the rights and back catalog to TK,JJ and JM saying that he didn't want anything to do with stratovarius anymore.
Well the other members went about recording their stuff and looking for a new guitarist while trying to figure out whether they wanted to keep the name or not, things seemed pretty much taken care of until a few weeks later when Tolkki dropped the bomb that he was going to record another Stratovarius album with some of the older members of the band.
As you can imagine this took many fans by surprise as it seems we've been divided into people who support the other members and people who support Tolkki.
anyways the other members finally recruited a new guitarist in matias kupiainen and they've been hard at work on the new album, Tolkki has also stated that he's now writing material for his Strato album, so I guess we'll just have to see what happens at this point.

Note, he doesn't write stuff for the final Strato album, he's writing for the new RR album.

apparently he's doing both, cause a few weeks earlier he stated that they already had some songs written for the new strato album he's doing with the older members.
