Don't drink really anything anymore- but when I did drink beer, I'd usually have- Michelob Light.
For imports, I'd drink, at one time or another, Grolsch, that Czech Pilsner stuff (can't remember the exact brand, but it was pretty good, though), Bass Ale, and sometimes Beck's. Once in a blue moon I might get Heineken Dark.
Most of the time I'd simply pass on the beer, and drink liquor.
My favorites were Jack Daniel's, as well as Gentleman Jack- neither one of which would ever give me a hangover, as long as I did not mix them with beer. I've drank a lot of different ones- such as Maker's Mark, Jim Beam, George Dickel, and another favorite, Wild Turkey 101. =)
Sometimes, I'd drink Crown, which could give you a hangover, as well as C.C. (Canadian Club), and other times I might get adventurous and drink vodkas, such as Stoli, Absolut, Smirnoff (GUARANTEED hangover there) or more often, Grey Goose. Vodka would almost without fail give me a hangover every time, so I typically would stick with whiskey.
On some occasions, I might get really out of hand, and start drinking Glenlivet, which is an expensive single malt Scotch whiskey, but it's pretty damn good though.
I also used to drink some of the local stuff (moonshine), provided that it was good and smooth- and I've had some that was truly good; made from recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. You can get really pickled off of the good stuff.
Perhaps we could start a liquor thread? It's definitely getting cold outside, and traditionally, (at least around here), that means it's time to put up the beer and break out the bottle.
