Right, we didn't see that coming! The 'don't look at me!' ploy.

Maybe we can blame Iran for this one!
It was Osama Binladen and Al-Qaeda!

I had the "normal" flu winter of 2008. Swine or not, pig, bird, ape, unicorn, amoeba or whatever flu it was.. A or B, H1N1, H3N2, I have no idea what types of animal sperm and hemagglutinin and neuramidinase it used to rape my fucking body. All I know is that it fucking sucked ass. I could barely walk for a whole week.

I'm more conscious of washing my hands more this week than usual. If it wastes a bit of my time and makes me a manipulated stooge, that's the price I pay to avoid feeling like I did in January of '08 for another week... gladly...

I don't think they know what the mortality rate would be. They're contemplating the risk that 1918 happens all over again. That would put a dent in shopping for Chinese plastic dog poop, which is already dangerously low due to global recession. If Chinese plastic dog poop trade diminished any further, the world economy would collapse.

I'm a bit scared about all this shit. We are officialy at "level 5":
The World Health Organization on Wednesday raised its pandemic alert to 5, its second-highest level, warning of widespread human infection from the swine flu outbreak that originated in Mexico.
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/04/2 ... index.html

I was seeing Mexico on the TV...It's really terrible. The people is really scared, the whole country is collapsed. I just hope all this will end soon.
The worst thing is that we are not gonna have vaccine in the next 6/8 months...

Fucking viruses, they are growing fast and they are more powerful each time we find a vaccine.

really?
let me tell you what I read from today's news, it's about how to prevent being infected by swine flu - in Chinese way.

mulberry tree leaves - 12g
chrysanthemum flower - 12g
almond - 10g
loquat leaves - 10g
kudzu root - 15g
coix seed - 15g
reed root - 15g
ballonflower - 12g
forsythia - 12g
isatis leaves - 15g
honeysuckle - 12g
liquorice - 6g

put all of them in a pot, boil them with water for 15 min and drink the water. don't add sugar in it.

now, believe or not, we all gonna be ALIVE!
seriously, this is from a hospital's report...!

regarding SARS, I wasn't in China at that time. all I heard from my boyfriend is that he has no lectures for the whole semester, so he just stayed in the dorm and played cards, or computer games. everyday. I almost envy him...
and after all that mess for half year, 349 people died. we are talking about a country of 1.3 billion people.

Here in Mexico, there is something suspicious about the "influenza virus", government gave the order of everybody stay at home, and use mask, actually is too difficult to buy a mask in a drugstore, and we think this is a trick, to the country economy, and, here there are too many laws that government going to aprove, and obviously, people won't agree, and they going to do... hmmm.. if it's correctly say "Exhibitions", when people do things in the city, like close streets, and avenues... and that kind of things.
well, one of the laws that government going to aprove is, legalize drugs, obviously people going to do "exhibitions" because of this, and government tell us that we must stay at home, because he want to avoid that kinds of "exhibitions".

In my class there are many many people who have just come back from Riviera Maya and I was so scared cause they are friends from the university and can perfectly sit with you, talk to you or touch you. They have been checked this week and are perfectly healthy, but I don't wanna touch them just in case...these first cases in Spain are students at my university in Valencia, I don't even wanna use public transport, train and tube...I don't wanna die so young :( I hope everything is solved very soon, please please! I am also very sorry for those people in Mexico, it is a complete chaos.

Yea everyone here in Mexico is in panic mode! There haven't been any confirmed cases where I live. My guess is that everything is going to be done with in a couple of weeks. I suppose something good will come out of all this and everybody will be more conscious and careful about their own health.

Some Website wrote: During a typical year in the United States, 30,000 to 50,000 persons die as a result of influenza viral infection. Frequently cited numbers are 20,000 deaths each year, and 37,000 annual deaths. About 5-10% of hospitalizations for influenza lead to fatal outcome in adults.
37,000 deaths in the United States per year due to regular flu. That comes out to 101 deaths a day.

There were 162 cases of swine flu in the USA so far. Only ONE person died. And yet, a global panic. People are hopeless, helpless, hapless.

True about Swine Flu

I'm sorry for the mistakes with the translation, but wasn't me, was the translator!!

On April 2 at the meeting of the G7 group composed
U.S., R. Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy and Japan were 2 findings
fundamental.

1 - The world economy needed a change.

2 - IMF. 500,000 million dollars spent to help
emerging economies (poor countries are willing to work) as well
dice in the air.

3 - Then came the private meeting of President Obama and Philip
Calderon 16 and April 17.

Surprisingly on Thursday April 23 the president of Mexico to call
an emergency meeting with his cabinet, and at night the secretary
Health Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos announced in the national network
emergence of influenza viruses, and immediate measures such as
suspension of classes at all levels in the City and the state of
Mexico.

On April 24 the G7 says the global economy should be onannounced to inject 100 million euros in new plant
vaccine and 236,000 doses donated to Mexico to support the control of
disease.

From the above we see that:

1. For over 2 years the pharmaceutical industry worldwide
had financial problems for the decline in sales.

this year and to launch the necessary actions.

Finally Monday April 27, pharmaceutical company Sanofi Aventis
2. If you do not believe war creates diseases (the world economy should
implemented)

3. Mexico a perfect launch pad for the disease, here
Tourists come to different parts of the world, surprisingly the
countries that report patients who were in Mexico, and are
strengthen its health fence are the countries that comprise the G7
weird.

What happened this week. Very likely the suspension of
activities at all companies in the City and State of Mexico, and
Classes were suspended until May 6, where the government will
analysis and see the farce that should continue, or the declaration
studied as "thanks to measures taken in time and support
of the public were able to control the disease "

4. Ponte think that you are now talking to international
¿Virus or of the financial crisis?. This advance is a relief
the world bank and commodity exchanges worldwide.

Distribute this email to all your contacts is not true we want
see the face as they have in the past (chupacabras, UFOs, milk
contamination etc.).

And if you can draw back for people who do not have internet, these people
as is always the hardest hit, watch the newscasts and sales of
pharmacies has increased and the cost of cubrebocas already reached 7
weights imagine the laughter of those who orchestrated this when he saw people with
cubrebocas.

If anyone debate that unemployment Mexico because they do not lose much, so
That is the background for the IMF, and imagine the profits of
pharmaceutical world, and as recently announced by the Secretary
Economy of Mexico for the money do not stop to fight the disease,
and finally that employers consider an unemployment relief, and many
vivales always pay half of their employees.

The president announced that the disease is curable, and we always
handle figures mean where are the dead and where they are
concentrated sick?

I annex the following points:

1. If it really is so contagious, how and where the families
from the dead?

2. If the swine influenza virus is a mutation of the original
pigs, then the outbreak of the infection should have started in the
field and not in the cities.

3. Why have not shown an interview with a patient? (I've seen
to interview family members, saying that his family is sick and

4. Why have not the name of retroviral this "curing" the
people sick?
which is stable thanks to medication, but if the family has
been in direct contact with the virus that is not logical
ill or in quarantine?)
