Don't own one on account of them being way too expensive and lacking killer first party games. I don't watch enough movies to justify it as a Blu-Ray player either.

Besides, nobody else here either owns or even cares about the PS3 judging by the responses to the thread.

I think I would buy it if this fucker wouldn't be so fucking expensive.

The xbox 360 is more expensive in the long run because of all the extra thing you have to buy and you have to pay for online.

I was a Sega kid till the N64. The SNES was the devil incarnate to my great shame, a lot of really good games (even today) were on the SNES.

The fucking PS3 is still too fucking expansive.

I think I'll get a PS3 as soon as I can get a better TV set. My 14" CRT, monoaural TV would probably make PS3 games look like PS2 ones. Well, it does the job fine for my PS2, though (it's what I call analog anti-aliasing ).

I'm not sure it wouldn't be a good idea to get the Xbox instead. I like some PS3 franchises (MGS, Gran Turismo), but not enough to justify one console over the other. At the same time, I never played Halo and I don't even know what the other Xbox franchises are.

Since the games I like are available for both platforms and the PS3 is pretty much as expensive as the Xbox is over here, I might as well get the PS3 for the improved graphics and familiar gamepad.

Games are good, but the console sucks. I remember ( ) I got it 7.1.2008 , and there was guarantee wich will end after year, and my console went broke 10.1.2009, three days after the guarantee stopped. They couldn't fix it, so they gave me a new one but all the memories were gone Best games are Ratchet And Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction and Guitar Hero 3,4..

It isn't awesome. It is a blud-ray player that accedently can also play video games. And it is still too fucking expensive.

Just like the PSP is a portable video player and emulation console that can also play PSP games. Except Ridge Racer, I have not seen a decent game on the PSP (I sold it few months later after I bought it).

PS3 is a good blu-ray drive, but that's it.

Xbox360 is a great system in my opinion. Xbox Live works great, though it is a total waste of money. Games look fantastic, there are many great ones, but most are just too easy (like Prince Of Persia or Halo 3). GRID is a must.

Wii is a nice console with quite ugly graphisms. A couple of amazing games like Zelda TP, Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime Corruption, but that's it. And the fact that it cannot even play DVD movies, it really sucks!!! Too many "learn how to cook", "brain training", wiimusic", "tennis/boxing games with cartoon look" stuffs.
Gamecube was a much better console in my opinion.

I own a 360, a Wii, a Gamecube, a DS, a Gameboy Micro, and I used to have PSP, GBA, GBA SP, Gameboy, NES, Sega Master System and couple of Games and Watch, so yes, I know a little bit about videogames
