Stratovarius Community

Does anybody here actually know this 1-man project from Japan? It was founded by guitarist Hiroyas "Iron" Chino who also plays in the band "Lightning". To describe the music is very hard. For most of the part it is instrumental but on 2 albums I think there is a female singer that sings on japanese. I can't tell you who she is because the only information that metal-archives have about them is the name of the guitarist and the albums. The music is mostly catchy power-metalish. Mostly they're normal songs just with a keyboard playing the vocal melodies instead of someone singing them (apart from those songs that actually have vocals). Sometimes they sound like BGM music from a videogame. It is some very nice stuff. Check them out on Youtube:

Apparently some of those sounds are based on Japanese anime or something (games?).

Perhaps slightly related, not sure you guys ever heard of Mega Driver. It's this guy who plays mainly Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis, as it was called in the US) and Nintendo SNES (Super Famicon for some parts of the world) games with a heavier theme on guitars and shit. It's interesting, but I remember some of the albums had really bad production and the guy wasn't very skilled the last time I checked these albums (it was a long time ago, though).
